I would edit it myself in my flies, but Steam forces updates on workshop mods that change it back to 1.2

Could you update the tag for this to 1.3 so the mod manager doesn't freak out every time I load a save?

My favorite was when I made a pawn with Orphan backstory and her mom showed up as a prisoner in a nearby camp. My pawn went berserk when I ignored it and let her die. This mod is a must <3

Saved a pirate recruited him, within a day one of my allies sent his wife. i was expecteing her to take him or something. purely random nonesense that doesnt add anything to the game

the prior randoms that is, clearly they work within the colony so thank you for the mod, nice to have a fix

Hi there, really like this mod! It really helps with RP and worldbuilding for my games. Can I ask if you plan to update it to 1.3 at some point in the future?

thank you for this mod, I always run into performance issue in late game and clean dead pawns with runtimegc, that meant however an endless stream of new parents, siblings, spouses etc in every new raid (that can have hundreds of pawns and several relationships per raid) and constant mood debuffs from killing them. no more with this active

Wish a toned down version of this mod existed, something like reducing relatives amount by 80%. It's fun to occasionally find them, but it just happens way too often.

Would it be possible to have it so your colony pawns cannot generate random relations, but any new pawns that spawn can. A raider can spawn a Father/Mother etc but if you recruit that raider they would not be able to generate afterwards. Wonder if you can?

That just a suggestion but I am using Questionable ethics and I would love if a patch that would cut any random relationships but only with clones, because my clones having mothers or brother but not the same as the original pawn is so unimmersive lmao

kills quite the starting scenario's story when you end up having unknown relatives showing up when the main idea of the scenario is that you are on a new planet with no relatives within lightyears around :steamsad:

As soon as the first raider arrived my performance died for the rest of the game, and it stopped when I turned this mod off. Still don't know why.

I am guessing from the harmony patch that this mod alters or prevent that recruited paws from enemy factions to also have relationships.

Does anyone know if there's a mod that disables relationships for colonists as well? Almost every game I start, within ONE DAY I have one or two relationships starting. Like, guys, guys, you've been here ONE DAY, slow it down, man.

Now the pawn doesn't have to be mental break by shooting down a horde of relatives from the tribe.

The 1.1 code has been updated (much simpler and less likely to have conflicts, thanks to a change from Tynan). I tested spawning 3x 5000 point raids and there were no relations (other than social ones - friends / rivals / etc). Without it, relations were generated normally of course.

Are they relations with your initial colonists? Some of the recent patches may have changed something though. I'll take a look, and most likely switch to a new method to prevent "PawnGenerationRequest" from generating them as well (less chance of conflicts).

To the box man who said this - "All I want disabled are the positive relations showing up in raids."

There is a chinese mod called NoMoreRelationship that disables in raids only. Not sure if it needs localization or something, but you could try it.

Thank you! Tired of my Orphan pawn (the one I load into every one of my games) constantly getting events to rescue one parent or another and subsequently getting mood breaks when i ignore them.

Could this mod get a configurable settings tab? The comment below asked for disabling for colonists only, I'm fine with colonists having relations... All I want disabled are the positive relations showing up in raids. Ex-wife showing up to attack, sure whatever, but your current lover coming at you with a knife? WTF.

Any other addon conflicts with this? it does not seem to be working. still getting crazy random relationships with anyone that shows up...
I used Runtime to remove the saved relations because of the lag but then I have to start the mood insanity all over again as the same person's father is killed 20 times over...the amount of these kinds of relations is dumb and very poor coding.

It would be nice if there was an option to enable creating relationships only during the creation of characters. I'd love to have a family three for my original pawns, but not have it continue after the start. I could just add this mod after the coloney creation, but it'd be nice if it was a built in option.

I have been using this mod lately, and it works extremely well. Maybe if I ever get around to learning Unity engine, I could figure out why relationship trees start to make the game chug so terribly. Until then, I'll stick to this.

I got a feeling, no solid stats yet though, that after I installed this mod, I started to get MUCH more proportion of animal events instead of visitors/raids. The history doesn't seem to write them properly. Moreover, a group of invisible nonexistent pawns have beaten up a mad cassowary, wtf is this even..?

Necessary as otherwise your 3rd brother shows up in a raid with a triple rocket launcher and your pawn now hates their spouse with -80 because they landed the killing shot
