Hmm... "evolved Klingons" sounds familiar - didn't this go wrong for someone before? ;o) ( not speaking of ships here... -> Ent-series )

Joke aside, I'm looking forward to your ships. :)

(P.S.: The Klingon SFC-BB was nice, too... Any chance of seeing that, or influences from it?)
(P.P.S.: In case you don't know it, here's a little pic of it, after I had retextured (only recoloured actually) it to look romulan some time ago: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1394523764 )

Romulans are on the to do list (have been for a very long time). I have been quietly testing some Romulan designs for a while, although I will let the Klingons evolve a little more and see where they are heading.

Ah, I see... Thanks for the info. :)

Btw., would you eventually make the SFC Romulan battleship at some point?

As I build I do think about what happens where and when so it kind of creates itself, changing and evolving over time. At the moment the Klingons are closer to the Romulans than the Federation and might see a later Kling Rom hybred ship in the future. The Fed have leaned on section 31 much more and they dont operate in the open as much as the shadows

Yeah... I was pretty annoyed when BotF had neither ship- nor species-customization - as far as I could see because of the license (admittedly didn't dig into this), since the Devs definitely knew how to do it. They should have thought of the alternate-universes-explanation back then, too. :/

Back on topic:
Nice design idea - I was only wondering if you had a bit more backstory made up for this yourself. If not, that's ok too - I can think of some myself. :)

Think alternate universe. Lets say; the one where Zefram Cochrane goes to shake the Vulkans hand and shoots himself in the foot with his shotgun. lol As an example. Not quite the mirror universe :D:

I seem to recognize some Romulan (TOS) influence here.

And while I know the Klingons sold some ships to the Romulans in that era, it doesn't seem in character of the Romulans to do the inverse...

Still, it's a nice blend. :)
