Update please !!!!
SkookumGroolborn 23 May, 2015 @ 8:19am
Great mod, but there are a few things missing. For instance, the Amazon was very much conquered and tamed by European explorers. The removed wasteland provinces are not parts of any culture, religion, and they don't get assigned to colonial nations. I have colonial nations so I can have land that I don't have to administer, so this was quite annoying. A HUGE problem, the wastelands could be divided up into several provinces. They just look a bit awkward. If you could fix these problems, this would be a 5/5 mod and I can easily see it becoming popular, but until then, I can only rate is 4/5.

well its wasnt that time with that tech they had ENDr@in :)
George W. Bush 17 Nov, 2014 @ 4:58am
#Jeppo3 They're just one province because on the picture of this mod, Great Basin isnt a wasteland and ingame Great Basin is a wasteland.
ENDr@in 30 May, 2014 @ 12:58pm
I'm from northern Syberia and it's TOTALLY colonizeable! =D
Jeppo3 4 May, 2014 @ 4:49pm
Are all the wastelands just one province, or are they split into smaller ones?
theronguard2382 12 Mar, 2014 @ 2:36pm
Not save game compatible... Wtf is the point then
Kantei 20 Feb, 2014 @ 3:41am

@Tennesseeball
If you read the description, you would see that he outright said Greenland was still wasteland.
PercaliciousCJ 30 Jan, 2014 @ 4:46pm
go screw yourself, half of the wastelands are still there, I spent nearly 2 hours as Norway trying to get to Greenland, and I find it is wasteland.. thanks for wasting my time
SgtAdams 15 Jan, 2014 @ 9:37am

Athelus 30 Dec, 2013 @ 10:35am
any chance of saved game compatibility/ last few provinces on the horizon? otherwise awesome mod.
Onionblivion9999 2 Nov, 2013 @ 1:27pm
i have seen same no longer coloniseable difficulty that BLoodRaven has
Bait 1 Nov, 2013 @ 12:30am
Please make it possible to colonize entire Greenland, I'm danish myself and I would like to expand my colony there instead of jumping over to Canada.
Akuma Nightingale 14 Oct, 2013 @ 6:38pm
Question, could you/do you have any plans to make it so you could colonize the rest of Greenland?
Gwenysis  [author] 25 Sep, 2013 @ 12:01pm
@BloodRaven
Hmm that is odd, I am not having any issues with the game post patch, all altered provinces are still colonizable in my game. Is anyone else having the same problem?
BloodRaven 25 Sep, 2013 @ 4:50am
after the patch many wastlands like west australia is still a wastlamd. can not be colonised .can u fix it?
Glottis 23 Sep, 2013 @ 4:48am
Would there be a way to make it so you need to control ALL the surrounding provinces before you could colonise a wasteland??? The only thing putting me off so far is it would make me able to strike at nations that I don't currently have access to, and from a realism perspective, you'd only really colonise and be able to cross wasteland between points that you yourself control (you wouldn't build a railroad to an enemies door now would you? ^^) Otherwise I love this mod, hate those big empty spaces lacking my colour :)
Tigri 22 Sep, 2013 @ 3:00pm
thanks very useful mod though i hated how my USA looked well ugly :D
Gwenysis  [author] 22 Sep, 2013 @ 2:36pm
@Tigri
Yes you are right, it will overide other province history changes. I will likelly be changing that soon. This mod started with me just editing my own game, so I never seperated the altered provinces from the unaltered ones when turning it into a mod and just used the entire province folder. So I will definetlly change that for the purpouses of better compatibility.
Tigri 22 Sep, 2013 @ 11:26am
i understand what you are saying however for example province mannhatan is not required in your mod and some other mod might use it yours overwrites it...the problem i ran into was i downloaded HOLLAND mod which lets you start as them after many tries i couldnt get holland to show up until i checked ur mod zip which also had holland file in it after deleting it holland showed up on map sorry if i make no sense btu basicaly in ur history folder just keep the provinces that you added (great basin etc...) not the rest such as holland london or manhatan whatever (vanilla ones)
Gwenysis  [author] 22 Sep, 2013 @ 8:20am
@Tigri
The history folder itself is necessary for creating the proper path, at least that's my understanding. However since provinces is the only content in my history it should not override other file changes. For instance if a mod makes changes to files in history/countries there should be no conflicts as that folder does not exist in my mod
Tigri 22 Sep, 2013 @ 2:11am
i would suggest that you only put your province files in the mod since by puitting the whole History/provinces folder your mod overwrites everyother mod that adds new nations or modifies provinces in some ways (sry for spelling errors)
Gwenysis  [author] 21 Sep, 2013 @ 4:34pm
I do seem to be getting some lag on my older saves, but it dosent seem to be associated with any specific mod (mine included). I would say do what stlrnate has suggested, reinsall the game and see if that helps.
THATS THAT ME PROSECCO 21 Sep, 2013 @ 1:52pm
@Kolle161 i uninstalled and reinstalled the game its working alot better now
Hampe 21 Sep, 2013 @ 8:58am
@stirnate i have the same problem :(
THATS THAT ME PROSECCO 21 Sep, 2013 @ 8:34am
yes i turned of all other mods and DLC's just running it with just this and it continued
Gwenysis  [author] 20 Sep, 2013 @ 8:58pm
@stirnate
I really have no idea as to why that is happening. Are you sure it began after installing this mod specifically?
THATS THAT ME PROSECCO 20 Sep, 2013 @ 8:23pm
this is a awesome mod but for some reason my game freezes for a seccond after EVERY day are there any soluions to this ?
JJang78 18 Sep, 2013 @ 7:36pm
good job
Motoori Kosuzu 17 Sep, 2013 @ 1:59pm
I'm working on a lot of various mods, one I had just uploaded to the steam workshop. In a few of my mods I'd really like to add this. I'm working on a "General Improvement Mod" thats in no way public at this point that I'd also like to intergrate into this.
Gwenysis  [author] 17 Sep, 2013 @ 1:55pm
@✡mayaka✡
Sure, feel free to do so. What mod is it that you are you making?
Motoori Kosuzu 17 Sep, 2013 @ 1:20pm
Would you mind if I incorporated this into a mod of mine?
Lazy Invincible General 17 Sep, 2013 @ 1:14pm
No, I mean as in I added your mod to it, so I don't have to scroll through my whole menu >_<
Gwenysis  [author] 16 Sep, 2013 @ 5:39pm
@maximus
My assumption is that the history folder you added to your mod overrides the altered one in my mod. It does not really matter if you changed anything.
Lazy Invincible General 16 Sep, 2013 @ 4:37pm
gonna try it again >_<
Lazy Invincible General 16 Sep, 2013 @ 4:36pm
nope, no history changing
but I did add it to my mod because steam seems bent on deletin my mods >_<
