no
Corvus6662 26 Mar, 2021 @ 10:38pm
Is this female compatible?
ZiggyTouyeul 5 Feb, 2021 @ 4:44pm
Thanx for the update, looks much better than before !
Gallum 5 Feb, 2021 @ 9:07am
Dude this looks so good. You should do some dead space armor mods next. I don't think anyone has touched those for some reason.
Savar Belmont 2 Sep, 2020 @ 7:34pm
Thanks for the update. I really appreciate it.
Deadput 10 Feb, 2020 @ 1:47am
I'm saying their male because the base body of the UAC Elite Guard (and standard UAC Guard) is the same one as the multiplayer units.

Same with the Templars, they show up in the campaign but their bodies use the male ones as a basis.

So the UAC Guards are male for that reason, this isn't to say this is a reason why not to make a model for this mod but the point is that in the original game there are no female UAC guards period, their armor models confirm this.
Dzūkian Mushroom Crusade 8 Feb, 2020 @ 11:59pm
@Deadput I'm pretty sure this discussion is about the model of the UAC Elite Guard, not whether the multiplayer characters are supposed to be male or female. My point is there are no gender defining characteristics on the model of the UAC Elite Guard, so why should the armour be exclusive to males for the mod? If you disagree, then by all means, substantiate your claim.
Deadput 6 Feb, 2020 @ 2:05pm
Still doesn't change the fact that the armor for the UAC guards is the same base as the multiplayer armor was still designed for a male body.

Come on dude look at concept art, or even the models in closer detail.
Dzūkian Mushroom Crusade 5 Feb, 2020 @ 11:59pm
@Deadput You would only be able to tell the somatotype of a person if they were wearing thin and rather tight fitting clothing. The UAC Elite Guard armour on the other hand is a bulky suit of armour with a plated exterior and a padded underlay. There is no reason you should even be able to accurately make out the shape of the user's body.

By the way, the armour mesh does not need to be altered to make a female version. You could just port the male version. In fact, I did just that as a test, and it looks fine. The only thing wrong with it are the proportions of the head and neck, but the body looks fine to me. No new meshes required, no new rigging required.

Because the armor is completely masculine with male body type/shapes?

The Doom Multiplayer armors are entirely male and the default armor (UAC) uses the same base as the UAC armor in this mod.

There might be female UAC guards but their not encountered in Doom 2016.

Regardless the armor mesh is rigged for a male shape and not female.
Dzūkian Mushroom Crusade 5 Feb, 2020 @ 5:55pm
@Deadput How would you even know they are all male? The armour would completely hide any primary and secondary sexual characteristics.
Slackboy101 17 Jan, 2020 @ 3:50pm
Reaper as in Black Ops 3 Reaper
Slackboy101 17 Jan, 2020 @ 3:50pm
why don't you make Hayden for the Reaper or HK Allies Unknown Redux mods?
Deadput 21 Jun, 2019 @ 2:59am
@花兔 There aren't any female UAC Elite Guards, so frankly no female rigging exists for the armor, it would all have to be made from scratch and the armor reshaped to work.
花兔 21 Jun, 2019 @ 2:34am
Female riggings up
Quimera 15 Jun, 2019 @ 3:09pm
wow buddy i did what you told me and it is just work, ty very much, nice mod!!!
Max  [author] 14 Jun, 2019 @ 11:53am
Hayden might be able to work as a SPARK armor, but as a soldier, no.
Beiolos 14 Jun, 2019 @ 6:51am
Im mainly interested in the head, so i'd be more than happy with just the head tbh
Deadput 14 Jun, 2019 @ 5:40am
A head option could maybe work but the guy's head is very similar to the UAC guards as the images above show.
Deadput 14 Jun, 2019 @ 5:39am
That's not the point, I've edited meshes for the game myself.

Hayden might have a human shaped body but the proportion don't line up well at all.

His limbs would have to be shrunken down to the point where their animations would be weird.

Ultimately it's not my decision but I wouldn't get my hopes up for such a mod coming soon or at all for what would have to be done, it just wouldn't look good in game.
Beiolos 14 Jun, 2019 @ 5:15am
According to the wiki images, he is human proportioned, just very tall
Deadput 14 Jun, 2019 @ 5:11am
His limbs are too long though and the torso is too thin to work and look good.

At that point it wouldn't really look like Hayden anymore

There are mods for robotic soldiers, augmentations? Or how about some of the cosmetic mods for example one of the Titanfall armor mods have robots, or even Star Wars droid mods for example.

I think there was a COD android as well.
Beiolos 14 Jun, 2019 @ 5:08am
he can be resized tho, and would be great to have a full robotic body unit in the game
Deadput 14 Jun, 2019 @ 5:02am
Hayden probably wouldn't fit the animation skeleton of soldiers.

If Anything he fits the Faceless or a Chosen in skeleton shape.
Beiolos 14 Jun, 2019 @ 4:56am
will you make a samuel hayden mod?
Mind Goblin 13 Jun, 2019 @ 5:27pm
Love this armor, great for the Skirmisher
Deadput 13 Jun, 2019 @ 5:05pm
Plus many cosmetic mods don't actually require UC at all.

Claus stuff for example works fine with invisible Deco mods which is the only reason UC is even listed as a requirement.

I actually can't really think of any that do require it actually.
Max  [author] 13 Jun, 2019 @ 3:51pm
No, it works fine with UC, i said what you had to do was turn off the filters it automatically ticks on in the soldier customization menu, as i demonstrate here. [imgur.com]
Quimera 13 Jun, 2019 @ 3:23pm
So you're saying it's impossible to make it compatible with the mod? it is not possible to make it compatible with both ?? I have many mods that require Unrestricted Customization - Wotc, if I eliminate it half of my collection will not be avaliable in the game!!!
Lorkhan 13 Jun, 2019 @ 2:18am
OK.
Deadput 12 Jun, 2019 @ 6:32pm
@Lorkhan Because there isn't a female UAC Elite Guard in Doom 2016
Lorkhan 12 Jun, 2019 @ 6:29pm
Warum ist die UAC Elite Guard Armor nur für Männliche Skins verfügbar?
Fyrchtnfles 12 Jun, 2019 @ 12:58pm
nice
Deadput 12 Jun, 2019 @ 11:47am
Also hope you don't think Add Part Names is outdated, that mod is still used all the time.
Deadput 12 Jun, 2019 @ 11:46am
Unrestricted Customization is not used by everyone nor should it be.

Deadput 12 Jun, 2019 @ 11:45am
What outdated mod?
Quimera 12 Jun, 2019 @ 11:40am
forgive me for what I say since I respect the work of a modder a lot, but why did you make it compatible with an outdated mod for WOTC ?, being Unrestricted Customization - Wotc, which is more famous and more used by the modders, there is possibility to see UAC soldier compatible with this mod? the rest of the community won´t be able to use their mods because this one.
Max  [author] 12 Jun, 2019 @ 11:17am
It's probably because you have certain unrestricted customization filters ticked on in the armor menus.
Quimera 12 Jun, 2019 @ 5:59am
but new buddy, i have the helmet and the torso, but not the arms and the legs, is it because is incompatible with "Unrestricted Customization - Wotc"? because i have the other mod that is "add part name"
Deadput 11 Jun, 2019 @ 9:44pm
Yup I would make sure to credit you.
Max  [author] 11 Jun, 2019 @ 8:23pm
All i did was port all the stuff over to XCOM, so no, i wouldn't care if you did.

I suppose you could give me a credit in the description or something.
Deadput 11 Jun, 2019 @ 7:26pm
Sorry to bother you but by any chance would you be alright if I used the helmet from your mod here and the Night Sentinel armor for an Advent Soldier I might make?

Trying to experiment with different helmets to see if I can make something that looks Advent but is not the same as the other helmets
Azure 11 Jun, 2019 @ 7:12pm
Must have missed it it then. Ty
Max  [author] 11 Jun, 2019 @ 7:10pm
I already did before you commented.
Azure 11 Jun, 2019 @ 7:04pm
Maybe at a note that its male only. Was rather disappointed when my Ladies of Xcom had no fancy new armour.
