Oh hey no worries @M1P4, thanks for that! This is a bit of an older one, haven't played it in a while but really glad you like it.

Your map looks stunning with your recommended lut and daylight classic (my settings on Daylight classic on this particular map: all to classic, but no classic stock luts and still haven't made my mind up on classic sun position nor the fog). Found no need to tweak anything on Ultimate eye candy (except changing the lut of course). Thank you for making and uploading this!

Cheers @Hendrik (and @BonBonB - some useful pointers there as per!)

Hi gomark. Your map was reviewed by BonBonB on youtube. I hope you like the video!

@gomark Thanks for the help. I unlocked all 81 tiles so I put my intake near the western mountains. I plan to build a custom large pumping/water treatment station there.

@Damien7Carter Cheers mate, yeah I think more or less anywhere in the ocean is good - rivers it’ll depend on flow so they’d need to be fairly low down near the sea if you wanted to put the intakes in rivers. If you want to stick to the starting tile early on, I made sure there was also a little bit of direct sea access on the opposite side to the outlet location - on the screenshot above, I put mine on the coast under the ‘c’ in ‘recommended’.

Incredible map, I am currenlty starting a new city on it. Quick question though, the water drain point is where I should put my drain pipe I understand this, but can I place pumping stations anywhere on the map? (I'm playing with 81 tiles if that matters)

@happysmash27 Cool, that should work fine I hope! I don’t have more images right now as I’m on the road for a couple days, but I *think* the only one I used that asks for MT is:

Good luck, hope you can still use it!

Do you have any detailed images of the interchanges? I would like to re-implement this with mods instead of DLC.

@Lithrus @WhyNotLiam Ahhh, no I see what @Lithrus is saying! :) Yes @Lithrus, I always try to make sure my maps run on more basic systems, because I remember getting super into C:S when my rig was old as hell and being very frustrated by the high-demand downloads - I’m hoping to make pretty things that can run on a potato! :)

@Lithrus , they have a better PC than me. Just because she uses low poly doesn't mean she has a bad PC.
gomark  [author] 24 Jun, 2019 @ 3:34am
@Lithus Thanks...not sure what you mean about my PC though? Six-core Ryzen 1600, GTZ 1060, 16gb RAM, dual SSD...plenty for this game and it runs just fine...?!
gomark  [author] 22 Jun, 2019 @ 10:53pm
@WhyNotLiam Cheers buddy, hope it lives up to expectations!
Winkēre 22 Jun, 2019 @ 7:48pm
Woah!! This looks amazing!! Can't wait to try it out.

@BonBonB But they keep the doctor away! (By making it borderline impossible to perform unauthorised repairs.) :steammocking:
BonBonB 21 Jun, 2019 @ 9:27pm
I hope not. I'm not keen on apples. Neither the fruit nor the tech :steamhappy:
gomark  [author] 21 Jun, 2019 @ 12:02pm
@BonBonB Haha! Have I done the C:S equivalent of bringing the teacher an apple? :P

"the road marking for the exit lane wasn't showing a turnoff arrow, and it was bugging me"
I'll add a star right away hahahaha

Coming soon...
gomark  [author] 20 Jun, 2019 @ 5:25am
Hi all - I've just done a quick visual tweak for one highway ramp leading to the start square. It wasn't causing any issues, but the road marking for the exit lane wasn't showing a turnoff arrow, and it was bugging me.

Also added a couple vanilla rocks to disguise a tiny road elevation glitch on a highway ramp nearer the edge of the map. (It auto-fixes when that tile is unlocked anyway, but looks a little off at the start, so I've hidden it.)

Neither tiny change alters the map function in any noticeable way, and honestly you needn't bother updating if you don't want to - just keeping you in the loop! :)
