The 4-lane national road as a highway I'd prefer as 2x2-lane highways instead.
The only other thing I'd personally change would be adding some other trees to couple up with the redwoods. The redwoods look great from a distance, but when you draw closer I think the forests could use another tree variation there too. When I play the game (instead of making maps myself..) I tend to pay close attention to detail in the city and a redwood-only-forest will take a bit away from it. It's easy for me to add those trees with a tree brush afterwards though, so I think it's a good map I'll probably pick up some time.
I'd guess you used only the redwoods also to avoid using a trillion trees, which I think is smart since not everyone "needs" a detailed treeline up close. Easily fixed by anyone who wants more detail on the map.
