Few stages have ever made me this angry. Not just in this game. But any game i have ever played for over 30 years. :steamthumbsdown:

This level is terrible. Just a huge mess with no sense of direction. Not optimized at all either, makes my modern Elden Ring capable PC drop frames all the way down to low 40's.

But I am open minded and turned the draw distance down and played for a bit anyway. And you basically have to find 13 time piece shards in a massive area, and each of them is locked in some random room or building that you need to puzzle out how to enter. It quickly gets very tedious, it's like searching for secrets in an old school shooter, except they're not just cheeky ammo stashes but required objectives.

A massive world made of very well designed level sections with nicely balanced and not overdemanding difficulty.
Very rich exploration thanks to the style, design, details and atmosphere.
Some places feel a bit empty and adding more NPCs wouldn't have hurt but even then the main parts of the levels definitely don't have this issue and are very lively.

After going through a bit if a struggle to find a video, I was surprised to learn that you have to JUMP on them. The thing is, I actually did try that, so it seems to be very precise...

Act 2 is unbeatable. The robots are invincible. I even tried nuking them, but that didn't work. They seem to be immune to all damage. I can't even tell if I'm damaging them at all.

@hwh6k that bug occurs a lot for a lot of people. Even in official levels. The only difference is that most levels that glitch out like that have rift tokens or pons as the glitched object. It has nothing to do with themod.

Confirmed that Act 3 cannot be completed on current build of AHIT, because you literally pass through the time piece. I'm guessing you'd need to roll AHIT back to whatever build was current in Aug 2019 to play this level properly (and I'm not doing that).

On the one hand, it's a big city that's fun to explore, with a ton of secrets. Yes, Act 1 is literally 13 needles in a haystack, but once you realize that Kid's Hat is required, finding the secret routes to each of them was actually not bad (though I had to cheat and watch a video for one of them).

On the other hand, Act 2 is none of that. It spawns a bunch of flying robots that spam missiles at you, and are all faster than you which means they're almost impossible to touch, let alone hit. It's hot garbage!

It's pretty clear that whoever designed this is good at environmental design ... and not good at game design. It reminds me a lot of the Arctic Cruise DLC, which was another large pretty level with lots of secrets, in service of absolutely nothing. Based on what I've played so far and the other reviews here, I'm not getting my hopes up for the remaining acts, but I'll at least give them a shot.

Good Lord, what a mess. I finally gave in and used my hat to find the objective. No human being would ever figure this out otherwise. After the time piece broke into T H I R T E E N pieces, I'm losing motivation to keep playing. It feels like this level was designed by an AI.

I am mystified by this level. On one hand, it's bigger than most other maps I've played combined and fun to explore, but on the other there is no sense of direction whatsoever. I've been looking around for over two hours and still haven't found anything that could lead to an objective.

i didn't even beat this... when i got hit by a car and the package despawned while trying to find my way into the station i gave up... this is my first ever hated map...

well actually i'm an idiot and rabidsolid down there didn't figure it out anyway. kid's hat ability points you in the right direction. i forgot about it since i never use it in any map

i like the style but there's nothing of interest for exploration and hardly any indicators where the time piece is in act 1. i just can't find my way and i'm using basically a flying hat to look around and i'm having trouble

I don't know if it's just me or if this is a common issue, but Act 3's Time Piece has no collision, I just pass through it without collecting it.

Don't get your hopes up when you first see this map, this map is gigantic and really fun to run around in, I keep on finding new secrets and shortcuts to get around the city faster, but the design of the time pieces... Blows. Each one doesn't give enough information to the player, and it feels like whoever was making the locations of anything already knew how to get around and didn't consider what it would feel like to a new player. This world is massive though, and insanely fun to run around, just don't think I ever want to do the timepieces again. :mafia:

This is a very well made map, are you a map designer? It felt very realistic, I liked the variation in how everything was placed, it felt too real.

The moment I loaded in, my jaw dropped at the SHEER MAGNITUDE OF THIS LEVEL. OH MY GOD. THIS PLACE LOOKS AND FEELS ABSOLUTELY IMMENSE! AND SO ELABORATE TOO!! I haven't even done anything yet and I'm leaving a positive review. I am in AWE.

The map looks awesome and it was nice to run around freely but trying to find 13 time piece fragment and struggling to get in each building to get them was a nightmare

What the actual peck? I collected all 13 Time Shards but died because of police, and now I have to collect them again!? WHY!? Never playing this map again.

While the level is mad good, I struggle to get stable framerate. I run my rig with a ryzen 5 2600x & gtx 1070, and cant even get stable 60 fps at high details. Like damn is this level demanding.

Man, act 3 was really intense. If you do plan on doing more stuff like this in the future, you should really flesh out the last part of act 3 into its own thing, cause I'd love to see that part play out as a big ol' boss fight thing

what a thorough masterpiece this is really turning into, wish there was so much more dialogue but wow at all the effort and painstaking time put into this. i could get lost into this for hours. it's one of my favourite workshop items to play on.

Interesting map! really liked how everything looked. definitely strikes a very run down city vibe. when i wasn't confused as to where i was going it was pretty fun.

The Black Market needs some work. I Love the layout, but it's too unclear how to progress at several points. Dark Lighting also doesn't help. Took me a while to figure out how to get to the shard.

Stunning! Maybe a little low on heart pons though. I am yet to finish the level: black market defence was a little bit too much for me.
Really liked the freedom to explore! Although I would have liked if there were a little bit more in some harder to reeach areas - many just kind of end up being oretty blank. But also I guess this is why this is WIP! Really looking forwards to updates, as I quite enjoy big and open to exploration levels.

I got stuck inside some rocks at the outskirts of the city near the sewage pipes I fell inbetween a open spot while trying to climb back up near the road leading to a dead end that's gated of. and I had to quit the map to resolve the problem.

Reminds me of Cities: In Motion 1-2; Skylines, All the Unreal Engine Batman games, Forza Street, GTAV and GTAIV, The Sims 3-4 City Living, kinda also reminds me of Fairhaven City (fictional NFSMW2012) Atlanta, GA and New York, New York, Adds in some textures from Nyakuza Metro, and New Hat City. There is just a little bit of Car Mechanic Simulator in this map.

So apparently the reason I couldn't wall jump there is because if you dash cancel HK becomes unable to grab onto a wall after the first wall jump, someone in the discussions just so happened to found out about it.
Also yeah I was thinking the mafia could give a hint like that too.
