Fun short campaign of about 45-60' with no bugs/glitches, runs well as of 2023 (Linux).

Plain simple short linear adventure. It's okay and found no bugs.

At least it's not the return mod, where all the "Johnson" jobs are like twice as hard as the job where you saved the world.

Oh, and all the enemies got like 20 points of damage a turn, while attacking you in groups of five, while you are on a lone mission.

I managed to get it to work and finished it, but other then that, I hope someone would fix the issues to this and port it to the later titles or so on.

I have put both a spoiler alert (to which we'd never gotten any complaints on before you and Teggy as most had I imagined had chosen to continue Coyotes quest after they reached the end of the game). That being said, I get it. So yeah, spoiler alter AND alert that the mod may be broken for some users and to use at your own risk as there isn't really much of a plan for future support due to a simple lack of time in my day to day.

Hi, Justin. I'm sorry that you're upset. Truthfully I haven't been back to this workshop in quite sometime, nor have I been supporting this mod for quite some time (Like most people who made UGC for SR Returns as it's not exactly a popular destination these days with Dragonfall and Hong Kong to experience!). That being said, you'll see that the response you mention was written nearly a year ago and anything after that is only a month or two old.

Bugs prior to that comment were fought and repaired. This new bug must have been brought on by a patch after that. I'd supported this mod for years (as you'll see it was released in 2013) but unfortunatly do not forsee when I'd be able to dive into it and try to figure out what has gone wrong.

New bug and it's fucking terrible.

My screen is locked and I can't move it after the characters, so I can't go anywhere.

Hope I figure out which of my save is before it and what to do.

Hi I love the module. Feels very much like the actual game. Nice writing too! Howver, I found a bug that makes me sad. I just got the keycard from Devildive by having him give it to me and and I left to go back to Coyotes apartment, and the game is stuck at 0% "Loading..." with a "Saving..." message in the lower right corner. What can I do to help get this bug fixed?

Thanks Outlaw. It was always intended to make it a series of 4. I ended up getting wrapped up in some other Shadowrun endevours (I now run a Shadowrun Podcast!) though I kind of hope to one day maybe make some more content for this thing!:snaggletooth:

Wow. This is a really good short story. Coyote is an awesome charcater and it was great to explore her some more. Besides the gameplay being a lot of fun the writing is what made this awesome :P 10/10 for story. I also experienced no bugs. About 2 hours of play time. Well done. More please <3

Bug report... Or an oversight, more likely. Right at the end of the game, when I am supposed to make the call at the Den, I can still return to the BTL building and rescue the girl again, still with all of the dialogue with Ricky and Paco but, of course, without being able to use them in the battle.

Doesn't get in the way of the game and it actually gives me an excuse to spend the last 4 karma, but it doesn't make sense so I'm reporting it.

Great mod nonetheless!

Really wanted to enjoy this but ran into a couple of game-breaking bugs that just killed the experience for me:

=== GAME START : Kill the Halloweeners ===

Use Ricky to summon the inferno from the trashcan behind the gate. The inferno appears but is unable to attack (the only option I get is "Banish Spirit")

-- restarted the level to verify and reproduce


=== THE DEVIL'S LOT : arrival ===

Ricky is stripped to his underwear. On hover, his name says: Ricky_avatar. Less amusingly, he is also stripped of all his gear and therefore completely useless. I gave him a medkit at game start and before changing scenes to Devil's lot (not sure if that is the cause but it's my best guess). Restarting the level does not fix the issue.

Just played this after running through DMS and Dragonfall in a couple of days. Very short but the writing was top notch! Hope you try your hand at something more substantial.

Noticed one bug at the end where you can enter the BTL joint after rescuing the girl and it just repeats the sequence again.

I've updated the mod locally with some small fixes that were brought up by Thunderforge... but unfortunatly without the default character fix coming from HBS... I'm afraid this is going to have to wait to go live again. I've now emailed HBS and am hoping for a fix as garanteed this will not only stop this one from being playable but also a future DLC I had planned as well. Cross your fingers, fans of Coyotes Crusade. Hopefully we get a solution soon (for this and other UGC makers out there!):snaggletooth:

If this helps, you might want to check out the intro sequence/default character avi. I know the similar problem with the initial loading game fail happened with the SNES Shadowrun Reboot UGC post Dragonfall due to use of the Jake Armitage NPC avi as the default character.

Keeping this sub-rate-fav'd despite the issues. The author knows we are having them, and this is an HBS top pick for a good reason. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
