@phantomMenace - doesnt matter that the launcher tells you its "outdated" , 99.99% chance this mod still works just fine
Phantom Menace 27 May, 2022 @ 9:59pm
;( plz update...1.7 is the final patch anyways
Phantom Menace 27 May, 2022 @ 9:59pm
sniff sniff.....It is outdated. You are the only person that made this mod

Hey Calico, Im not actively modding anymore, but fair ideas.I believe they would all be possible.
CalicoDJack 5 Apr, 2022 @ 12:18pm
I believe that if ai use it a lot , it will be better to make more fair even if is a stronger will be ok if it is fairly stronger for both player and ai !
CalicoDJack 5 Apr, 2022 @ 12:16pm
havie can you change march stance in way to be more fair to player and ai . Like let replenisment enabled but with low replenisment( with that way even if ai stay in a place inside there domain 5 turns they will replenish ) , kill the suplies cost ( because i believe that just make ai die from atrition more easy ) but make it more easy to get ambushed . Plus can you make the march stance to get away after their army have stay inside a city for 1 turn ( that could help a lot to the ai not stupidly pay 1 full army upkeep while have only 150 soldiers in that army ) .

Havie you've done it again! You rock!

Havie: So unfortunate. Thank you for making this mod in an effort to improve on CAs unfortunate choices though.
Havie  [author] 2 Jan, 2022 @ 3:16pm
Hey, rmac465 . Indeed this is a huge problem with CA's campaign AI. They over use force march like no other. I could not find a way to make them use it less. This mod only is a tiny bandaid on a much bigger problem.
Please use this in conjunction with my other mods such as HOME REGION MOVEMENT to further help.

Hey havie, I find it very surprising to see yours is the only mod on here i can find that refers to forced march. Im new to three kingdoms and im noticing the AI is almost always in forced march stance. I hate this because for one it means that when you attack thwe AI youre always fighting a very tired enemy. Secondly the ai doesnt replenish in this stance. What im left with is a campaign map full of damaged stacks of ai armies all in forced march and not replenishing. Is there anyway to get rid of this stance all together. It adds nothing to the game for the AI to have it. If not does this mod help reduce the AIs use of it, and would it be compatible with radious mod ?

Ah yeah rebels behave quite differently in regards to attrition and supplies
Primarch Alves 18 Mar, 2020 @ 4:37pm
@Havie They were the last army of one of the Yellow Turbants factions from mandate of heaven! As i finally manage to catch then, the faction was destroyed so i guess this was the reason for their behavior! The big problem was that they did not suffer any attrition... but i guess this is a bug because if they don't have a settlement they should be under attrition no matter the stance!

Thanks for the answer! Your mods are great!!
Havie  [author] 18 Mar, 2020 @ 3:17pm
@primarch Alves,
Sorry to hear that, i wonder whats going on if you could find more details as to why. Possibly whos leading the army , and how many strategists are in it. what faction etc.

This really doesnt seem to happen to often anymore, i see AI suffering attrition alot so its a line i dont want to cross. they mismanage supplies quite horribly
Primarch Alves 18 Mar, 2020 @ 11:58am
You could increase the supply cost penalty, because the AI still manages to keep running on force march through my territory for mora than 10 turns without sufering atrition
家住海边喜欢浪 29 Feb, 2020 @ 10:20am
A little force march penalty, a big improvement for us to enjoy the game, thx a lot, Havie!
Havie  [author] 14 Feb, 2020 @ 9:12am
So I can’t control what the AI does , however I can make them spam abusing this mechanic come at a cost, which is what this mod does.

This mod was much more important back at launch when the AI abused this system and could still retreat in force March.
Since launch the Devs have patched this and made force match not retreatable and the AI uses a little less

This is a great idea for a mod, and works as advertised for the player. However I'm still noticing the AI is force marching all over the place (including enemy territory).

Thats really weird Worf. Maybe another mod youre using touches this?
Worf 21 Jan, 2020 @ 7:12pm
@havie https://imgur.com/a/XhDkdPN is what I see (-10 supplies 50% movement range).
Havie  [author] 21 Jan, 2020 @ 3:31am
@worf

hey sorry, I guess somewhere along the way i removed the 10% nerf? I guess i thought the AI was doing alot better after CA made some changes to force march and the AI.

do you see the -15 supplies? I just tested it works in MoH for me. Ill put back to 45%
Worf 21 Jan, 2020 @ 2:22am
Doesn't seem to be working for me, forced march displays as 50% on my tooltips.
9HK 4 Jan, 2020 @ 12:09am
thx
Havie  [author] 3 Jan, 2020 @ 7:44pm
Yup
9HK 3 Jan, 2020 @ 11:58am
can i use this with existing save game?
Havie  [author] 22 Jul, 2019 @ 6:12pm
I mean, i still use it, nothing that CA did affects this,
I however havent had much time to test how the AI behaves now
Edward 22 Jul, 2019 @ 5:51pm
Considering the new patch, will you keep maintaining this mod?
Havie  [author] 14 Jul, 2019 @ 9:07am
player and AI
RICEPOOL 14 Jul, 2019 @ 12:05am
do the penalties apply to player too?
Houthi George 5 Jul, 2019 @ 2:57pm
Alright that makes sense. Thanks for explaining.
Havie  [author] 5 Jul, 2019 @ 9:00am
Im sure others have- also, if you play with my other mods,
There are multiple ways to gain more movement- such as instinct (dynamic WuXing) and new character nodes in the skill trres (custom skill trees) and if you use home region movement boost...

If I didnt reduce this a bit- you would be flying all over the map and it would very much so outbalance the gameplay. I can promise you if you use my mods all together like mentioned, you will not find this reduction an issue
Houthi George 4 Jul, 2019 @ 6:02pm
Can you make a version without the reduced range for those of us who want to play without 8%PY?
