The mod works, but in my opinion, it has rather unbalanced effects that affect the entire faction (heir, head of the faction).

I noticed this before and I posted somewhere but I really have it isolated to this mod now (and your advisors one as well) - I notice that, particularly in FD and to a lesser degree AWB, factions like Sun Ce that start out a campaign with some pretty unhappy officers (mostly to incentivise the player to promote them into vacant offices I assume) will have turn 1 defectors with this mod enabled. With Sun Ce FD it's like half your court! I presume this isn't the intended behavior, so I was wondering if you were aware of this. Thanks for checking it out if you get a minute.

@Umriq I saw your post on my other mod and I was able to take a look. Bottom line, I think you have a mod conflict. Try turning off all your other mods except this mod and see if the Resolve stat expanded effects show up. You may also be playing in records mode, which I don't know if Havie fully supports records mode.

I fixed the issue by deleting all my mods in the data folder. Now it works again.

that is bizarre... only thing I can think of is you can try downloading rPFM (rusted pack file manager) by frodo off his github /twcenter. and changing the pack to type Movie and saving in ur 3k/data folder. that sometimes helps fix things

Right now it removes stats completely for me with the new factions. No stat bonuses and I can not see any stats. Works for old factions.

Hello - do you know if it is possible to make the cunning effects for bandit factions function differently than the Han?

The bandit loot mechanic that they use instead of military supplies is kind of weird with the mod. It's very easy to get armies stuck with no loot right after being recruited. Other than bandits I consider this a must have mod for every single playthough.

Sorry you feel that way. I am a big fan of the bonuses that come with the maluses. In fact slowing fown the early game is also something I enjoy.

I am aware of Cao Cao situation. In fact its quite easily countered by making Cao Ren a minister (use my advisor mod). Putting points into his Expertise skill nodes (Use my improved skill tree mod) or giving him items that increase expertise.

Alas, even if you dont manage any of the above , +2 construction time is not the end of the world, use the assignment to decrease construction time as a last resort. Wish you the best.

2 turns slower construction, factionwide, for low expertise is very bad. The issue will compound too since the heirs and prime ministers tend to be commanders and other non-purples with low expertise as well, so you will get even slower construction times.

Works fine with MTU for me.

One problem that makes this mod unplayable for me -
the faction/heir/prime minister negative Wuxing.
The tradeoffs of negative Wuxing makes sense in administrators and generals because you can CHOOSE them.

Your faction leader on the other hand isn't chosen, and even as a legendary he's going to have 2 stats that will give you massive negatives, to your whole faction, for the first half (or more) of the game!

For example, Cao Cao has low resolve. That means from turn 1 and for the rest of the game, you will have +2 turns on all construction for every single province. This alone makes Cao Cao unplayable with this mod, since he will never be able to build up fast enough and it's immersion breaking that Cao Cao's faction is some barbaric faction that can't build buildings.

female characters share the same WuXing stats? Yes it works with my skill tree mod. In fact this, the skill tree mod, commanding skills and advisors are all meant to go to together. Id recommend using them all with the rest of my collection.

Dude, im so happy i found your mods. You just magic-touched where it hat to be done. I wasnt playing for long and immediatly found it not "special" enough. All the new Systems are really fun but kinda bland. I hope CA will aknowledge your passionate work mate!

Hmm that’s odd JDBEST this mod would be one of the least likely ones to cause an issue . Only thought I have is if they changed something w the records mods resolve stat. You aren’t playing records are you ?
Also surprised startpos mods are already updated this close to launch of new DLC. Fyi if you don’t have the Newest DLC I could see some of my other mods causing crashes . Not this one tho

This is a pretty awesome mod- I think I could stand to have the negative factors be even a bit more severe and enjoy it. But it's good so far and has me rethinking people's places in court. So that's a boon.

@Havie, sorry it was a false positive on my part, i was getting crashs to desktop with the satisfaction mod (which you already updated) and the Improved Buildings. Not this one.

It still works fine on 1.3.0 even though it has the warning in the mod manager. I just finished a 200 turn campaign with the mod on 1.3.0

just wanted to drop in and say this is one of the best mods out for TK right now, the changes to 5 stats on commanders makes you consider choices not found in the vanilla game.

I really appreciate that this mod is stand alone and isn't bundled in some huge overhaul (although your other mods are legit good as well).

The AI simply does not min max hard enough . They have hints on skills and traits that tell them how good a minister or a general said character should be. But it’s nothing compared to a real player .

There is only one buff line. “ when faction leader, heir or minister “
I tried adding just minister but it doesn’t appear possible . Not going to get into why .

How do you know the AI doesn't utilize it properly? I always assumed they promoted high stat officers to minister roles to keep them happy, but I can't find a way to see their ministers (even with spying).

Thanks for the answer - is it possible to create Minister-only faction wide buffs or is there just one faction wide buff group and you choose who goes into it. (i.e. is it even feasible for me to create a submod out of it).

Its inevtitable to have to rebalance the AI when enabling the minister buffs, especially with this mod. The base vanilla items themselves are not properly utilized by the AI.
Sorry you dont like the combination and rebalancing route I chose. I guess the answer to your question is "no" as I have already implemented this in a much larger way that works for me.

Sorry, by minsters I meant Chancellor, Grand Commandant, etc. The Advisor mod implements skill tree faction wide buffs as well as these which is too strong IMO (and I'd prefer not to further buff AI to compensate). I didn't want the advisors too strong - just enough to add flavor/choice which this mod does perfectly (hence wanting to extend it to the 5 "middle minister" positions).
