(when your game has the same name as someone else game's addon... I really should have google deeper, next time...)
There MIGHT be an autosave from right before you crossed onto the pier. If so, you can try re-loading that and then just redoing that fight. Try ignoring Shav and see if he exits.
However, the issue of enemies targetting the player is still there. Admittably I am playing on the hardest level, but when the Lonestar Captain is surrounded by 5 gang members in melee range but decides to take a shot across the street to where I am fighting another lonestar? This sort of thing happened often enough that it took me 5 tries to get down the road and out of the Stuffer Shack parking lot. In fights of 7 good guys on 3 bad guys...it felt wrong. I ended up making it through by being the last guy on the scene and hiding behind things so the shots Lonestar took at me missed. Not very 'heroic' or 'bad-ass'.
Still, headed up the page to hit 5 stars!
There are a couple of ways of solving that puzzle. Since you don't have the etiquettes or Decking skill, you can fall back on repairing the boat and rowing across the pier . Start out by investigating the pier to the north of Pier 23 until you find the damaged rowboat . Then, backtrack and search through the shipping containers until you find some fresh lumber to repair the boat . Good luck, and I'm glad you're enjoying it so far!
-First time visiting the Eclipse club was a nightmare. Ended up using the Debug System to toggle fog off so I can move to save near the stairs, exit, reload. Nearly showstopping. Every other instance after was laggy, but functional.
-Some zones have some intense use of VFX (ei: Eclipse 2nd floor, Docks) made the Fps -drag-. I don't think the engine was intended to use smoke and fog patches in such concentration.
-Across several instances in the mod, I was forced to move in AP when there was no combat to be had. Not the worst thing, but super annoying and screws with immersion to roleplay.
-The combat itself was fairly linear in this module, but either left you exposed without any cover on the advance. the enemy had the first turn initiative or both (Especially in the final encounter).
Worth playing for Antumbra Pt3!
I'm sure the free cyberdeck will be a huge help. You should consider adding a chat option with The Dave where (Decker:4) will give you a free Shield ESP and Medic I. Or something ...
I acknowledge that dual-classing will always lead to harder compromises than choosing one primary class and sticking to it. The reason I complained was that I faced what I felt like a mission impossible. :-)
Money will probably still be tight for this archetype combo, but that seems unavoidable without giving single-archetypes way too much. I crunched the numbers on this a while back: for the endgame, it will cost a Decker about 7000 nuyen to get the best deck, programs, and armor; a Rigger needs 8000 nuyen just for two drones; by contrast, a Street Sam can get the best weapon and armor for just 4500. The content is balanced to gradually pay out enough nuyen to buy the best gear with some left over; but people who are dual-classing, especially for expensive archetypes, will probably need to use cheaper gear.
Thanks for checking in!
So at the beginning of part 2 I'm broke and I can't afford to buy a deck + programmes let alone to hire help. No, I didn't even try to continue after I realized this. I just restarted the whole part 2 with the character I created for Corvalis part 1, because that was about as long a story as Antumbra 1.
The bug happens if you open the Equip screen (from your Stash or after buying equipment), and then click the left or right arrows to switch to your hired runner. To work around this, please Rewind back to the Eclipse scene, and then proceed normally, just being sure not to view Hailey's Equip screen.
Sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully this will help you get past this!
Had to put them in hold once I realised it wasn't me that was triggering it. Also meant I was quite confused as to how to cross, since it seemed to push me back no matter where I stood.
Anyways, thanks for checking back in! I'm going to keep investigating to try and reproduce the problem on my end, and I'm also following up with some other UGC creators to see if it's come up in any other modules. Once I can see it happening on my own computer, I should be able to roll out a fix pretty quickly. Thanks again for the report!
In all official campaings, skill checks are a way to aid your character and here, unless I missed something (in which case, I appologise), at least one of these skills seem mandatory, which is unfair, since I had no previous warning.
All in all, this has been a good campaing, although I still prefered the first one which, albeit short, seemed a bit less rough around the edges (of course, that's just my opinion).
Thanks for the report! I'm glad that you were still able to complete the pyramid, and impressed that you could do it solo.
This may be a bug, so I'd like to try and figure out what's going on. It would be great if you could answer a few specific questions:
* Are you in turn-based mode when you start the Aztechnology Pyramid level?
* Is Hailey selectable from her upper-right portrait?
* Can you switch between her fists and drone using the arrows near the bottom-left of the screen?
* Can you confirm that you are using version 1.2.6 of Shadowrun Returns? This is the number shown in your PDA.
Note that Hailey doesn't have a ranged weapon; her slots are reserved for a drone and cyberdeck. In combat, it's best to activate her drone, and use her remaining AP to move, use items, or Mark Target. (I would love to give her a weapon, but unfortunately the Shadowrun engine limits how many slots a character can get.)
I hired hailey as my runner and when I entered the pyramid she was naked and not controllable. I could not use her for anything but someone to follow me around with. Has this happened to anyone else and how can I fix it?
More specifically: tiles that have solid colors are safe to walk across, while tiles that have patterns will throw you back. I suggest using a single character to cross, zooming in so you can check that you're taking the right steps. Note that this is easier to do if you move forward or to the side, not diagonal.
Good luck! You're almost there. :-)
I am stuck at the final scene crossing the bridge, no spoilers but I can't seem to cross the bridge after I kill the last group on the near side of the bridge. When I <end> my turn it shows 2 enemies moving, but those enemies are non-existant as I have checked back thru the entire area and can't find additional enemies. No spoilers, but am I missing something?
