incompatible with "Real Time (Fixed)" - disaster countdown (in days) counts down about 12 days per day, even on real time's fastest setting.

@xoelpilotoklm -- Open the Landscaping Toolbar, then select the Disasters tab (it should be the one on the far right).

Just a suggestion. Is there a way to include an "auto evacuate/release option"? Ragnarok mod already had it and it was very functional in many scenarios.

@LemonsterOG does this still work for you with the last update? Since disabling this I am not getting any disasters other than huge forest fires with no warnings. Thinking of re-subscribing.

So here's what you need to know about the settings...

Once you start a new game, set the options as you'd like them to be and save the game.

The next time you load the game, the settings will *appear* to have reverted to their defaults, but in actuality, they are still set. I have never had a disaster strike that I originally turned off, despite the options *appearing* to be on.

If anyone has experienced anything different, I'd love to know about it.

@Zenya okay, after playing with the mod a bit, I have another suggestion. Add a feature where if a natural disaster (perhaps of a specified list) were cross into/strike a specific "marked" district, the natural disaster de-spawns. That way people can protect the really hard worked areas of their city but allow for a little chaos otherwise.

@Zenya Here's a small idea for you to add with respect to the earthquake destruction system. So apparently buildings of a certain height, if I recall correctly, 3 to 4 stories tall, have the highest probability of collapse. You could implement something like that to slightly skew the results some. Also, Tornados and waterspouts should have different strengths... by a long shot. Waterspouts really shouldn't do much damage at all.

And, as the game doesn't have a "hurricane"/typhoon/cyclone, whichever word you prefer, you could emulate that using a mixture of weak tsunamis (for storm surge to cause some minor flooding and slightly bigger waves), a "chance" of a tornado(s) to appear, depending on the strength of the hurricane, force power outages during said time period (just turn off the power producing buildings and the AD feature if that's possible and doesn't piss everyone off lol). If it's possible to control rain, then probably a good idea to increase the rain intensity during this time. But it passes after a like two days (or whatever is reasonable given game time is different). Additionally, it should take a day or two for power to be restored to all areas (so turn on buildings by districts or whatever to emulate power being restored to community sections). If possible, try not to conflict with the Total Autobudget mod that does some buildings powering on/off :).

@ProbablyCracked maybe, it might have to do with the mod removing the earthquake cracks. i know the vanilla version earthquakes make a small-medium tsunami when on water. im just now subscribing to this to try this mod so idk

@Zenya, I have no idea why, but this mod no longer saves its settings for me, either for default or per city. I have a lot of trees in my garden city, so every time I load into the game, a bunch of fires start in quick succession. And then I drop the frequency of forest fires again and can get to work building things. According to the description, the mod should remember those settings between sessions.

Feature idea: only have certain panels of the info panel enable once the necessary detection building is built. Tsunami info only when buoys are in place, earthquake info only when an earthquake sensor is built, etc.
