I tested it. It looks like you must have Disabled AI in the unit selection screen. If you do that in single-player, you will be left with no one to play with.

Should I make the anti-aircraft turrets playable or are they better with A.I. targeting? Making them playable by humans might give the stormers more of a fighting chance. lol
