I am back into Kenshi and modding, so I plan to take this up again and iron some stuff out and expand it this summer.

Thanks guys- I had some more plans for this, but RL got in and I havent been back to Kenshi for quite some time. I would like to get back into it and 'finish' the mod ;)

Have been busy with real life stuff lately, but have some update items in the works. Nothing major, really, but some tweaks and such. Some "better" Brink stuff for sure including a police station, general store, dialog with the town leaders and the takeover of a nearby location if conditions are right. Might be a couple weeks away, though.

Two bars for the city might be a bit too much. Maybe as well add a farmshop near the crop fields....

Maybe keep the police station with prison cages? These are still needed. In my heavy modded game the gatekeepers are busy as hell. As well it would be good to have 2 teams of gatekeepers. That way the guards could rest. As well check if the gatekeepers could regenerate.

You could call it local sheriff or gatekeeper baracks or similar.

Personally i would like to see a "better" brink after the fall of the reaver leader and the arrogant local noble. Hence it would be cool to see an advancement compared to before.

Thanks for the feedback- a gen store would be good for base builders in the area- can add that in and see what building is taken up by it. I hadn't thought about Valamon being imprisoned in Brink and then running amok. Let me think about how to address that case. I always killed the bugger in my tests- dropped him at a beaky nest in the Unwanted Zone LOL.

A general store is missing badly. Maybe opposite side of the bakery?
Now you have a bakery and a Travel Gear Shop.

Ah I see the policae station is now a Bar. Thats why all captives are releases after the town override .. :P

Captured Velamon and Jailed in Brink. Kidnapped and killed lady Tsugi. Came back to Brink. Velamon was freed and runs through the town like crazy. Thank god I put his Skeleton Arms of his body before :P.

The town is really hard to access via the southern gate. As well to leave town via that gate is pain in the ass. You should reallocate the Gate.

I am working on a update to address a few things that I've noticed. So far no import has been needed for the changes to take effect. Changelist in process is nothing earth shattering and the core of the mod remains fine as is for use.

I've added some dialog with a bit more to left to do
Fixed the issue with the Trader's Guild sending caravans to the slaughter
Improved patrolling in a couple of cases
Adjusted some town NPCs and added a couple in

@Proud Wingman- thank you for trying it and yes please let me know if you spot anything. It is hard to see everything when testing from a single perspective. I am making a list of little things that I need to fix up/change so anything is helpful :)

No push here of course. Thank you for replying. In my game I am going to travel to brink for the first time soon. Kill some people to see the town "blooming" again. I can give feedback then.

@Proud Wingman- I don't think any of those mods would cause a conflict. I did give the NPCs money and shopping AI, so there is some activity. The shop money, I don't know, this place is not designed to be a prosperous city, so to speak. If I get time, I can look at those mods and see if I want to replicate any of the features in the town.

@Reversion- I can put a few more up. Strucuturally it doesn't look much different than the original Brink. I kept all the buildings intact and did not add any new ones. All I added was a water tower structure, makeshift fencing to enclose the homes and farms, and a couple more water wells. I'll post some more screenies tomorrow, though, of the faction members as you can't really see those in the shots.

Sounds like a nice mod, wish there were more pictures of this new Brink tho, would love to see more of a preview
