My version is complete.

It's a payload-less variant of this one. And yes, I did give you credit Octo.

Basically, nothing - but I want your permission to modify it and I also want your permission to republish it.

You will get credit for the original Shuttle, as it is yours. My only contributions to the republished ship will be adding the airlock and changing out the payload.
OctoBooze  [author] 26 Sep, 2019 @ 12:22am
What's stopping you from doing all this? The kit is here... This is a generic shuttle and the payload mimics that of STS-31, which happened to be discovery. Nothing stopping you from renaming it in your head and clearing the payload bay as there's no physical differences to be made in SE (can't go about changing the thermal tile layout)
Kerry 25 Sep, 2019 @ 1:25pm
Hey OctoMoose, suggestion.

How about doing a modification to your shuttle so that instead of packing the Hubble, it has a few empty large grid cargo crates in the payload bay.

Then it becomes a supply shuttle. Or as NASA originally proposed for the Space Transport System, a "space pickup truck".

Also, add an airlock to the side of the shuttle as well, where the doors are on the real shuttle, so we don't have to open the payload bay on the ground.

Oh, and also, change the name for the supply version from Discovery to Enterprise, so we don't get confused.

Dock Enterprise to the modded version of the ISS I've described on its' page, or at a connector port by using a piston + connector, to supply the station with parts for the hangar to build drones and make on-orbit construction and repairs.

Also, on Enterprise, modify your projector block so that it illustrates this piston + connector system instead of the Hubble parts.

Can you do all this for me? Please?

Me too, @Mr.GamingNerdFace.
Balhaze 3 Sep, 2019 @ 10:13pm
then i'd totally nerd out about this because i watch star trek
Balhaze 3 Sep, 2019 @ 10:12pm
too bad it ain't Enterprise
SolarFlare1234 31 Aug, 2019 @ 2:30pm
this thing's real nice lookin'
Panda -.- 20 Aug, 2019 @ 11:26am
how i play this?
OctoBooze  [author] 18 Aug, 2019 @ 1:38pm
@Cee64e The crawler and MLP are out already. Check out the collection included in the description top :) Appreciate the kind words and tips!
Cee64E 18 Aug, 2019 @ 1:29pm
Ya know, I'm gonna have to try this with one of the many wing/aerodynamic mods in the workshop.

Oh, you might wanna add another gyro or two. I've noticed that helps when a ship gets too heavy and you gotta nudge it with the engines to get pitch and yaw control back.

Awesome build though, can't wait for the MLP and Crawler..
Poppys 18 Aug, 2019 @ 6:43am
the ship crashes in the ground
PT-66 2 Aug, 2019 @ 12:41pm
how do make it so i can spawn it without it crashing into the ground? its bc the blueprint is tillted and i cant change it
Ihatethispart3 1 Aug, 2019 @ 11:16am
Is the shuttle compatible with the orbit script
Ihatethispart3 1 Aug, 2019 @ 10:37am
Also instructions were a little confusing but still understandable
Ihatethispart3 1 Aug, 2019 @ 10:33am
I figured it out, Thanks, and its super cool!
OctoBooze  [author] 1 Aug, 2019 @ 9:58am
That's because you use a remote to fly it. Watch the first 30 seconds of the guide or read the instructions at least.
Deathlok-L17 1 Aug, 2019 @ 9:36am
Amazing!!!!
OctoBooze  [author] 30 Jul, 2019 @ 1:53pm
Thank you!
In VOIP calls my mic is nice and loud so I've no idea what Nvidia recording software is smoking... This was my first time recording anything with voice on it so I'll definitely look into improving volume levels in the future ^^ Appreciate the feedback
Slinkerdeer 30 Jul, 2019 @ 1:50pm
Great build!

Btw, can barely hear you at all in that video at some parts. Quietest voice in the world xD
OctoBooze  [author] 30 Jul, 2019 @ 11:51am
@FS True, but you can hardly see out of them unless you're clipping in to the projection. Preferred to just leave them as is.
Moon 30 Jul, 2019 @ 11:19am
very nicely done. Good job!
*FS* 30 Jul, 2019 @ 12:46am
you can make windows with a projector overlay.
butaman13 29 Jul, 2019 @ 12:51am
Why didn't we find such a good idea!!
Thank you

oops with the typo at the end lol
stinkytoot200 28 Jul, 2019 @ 10:21am
Amazing! this will do great for travelling planets, space cruising, space-station, and most importantly, nuking enimy bases >:D:steamhappy:
Foxtrot Unit 28 Jul, 2019 @ 12:02am
Is the upcoming Challenger build gonna just explode on it's own ? So it's realistic ?
(Just joking, great build)
gangstalicious 27 Jul, 2019 @ 10:11pm

looks great OctoMoose!!

@T3RR1FY! I will admit when I am wrong, after a little research my statement doesn't really hold up too well. However, I stand by the idea that without the input of different nationalities in terms of competition or work on the project, spaceflight wouldn't be what it was in the 70s and 80s.
OctoBooze  [author] 27 Jul, 2019 @ 8:13am
You and me both. They have been in as mods for ages. We even have small ship cryopods that encourage small ships with interiors... Makes little sense that they skip on windows...
Knapp 27 Jul, 2019 @ 7:57am
Does make me realize just how badly we need small block windows.
Don't know what is taking Keen so long for those.
Knapp 27 Jul, 2019 @ 7:48am
Nice!
OctoBooze  [author] 27 Jul, 2019 @ 12:31am
No mods! 1 script used for artificial horizon
Hummusderp 26 Jul, 2019 @ 11:36pm
Mods?
T3RR1FY! 26 Jul, 2019 @ 10:17pm
@249 I mean it does seem pointless hes complaining about america's immigration problem in a SE mod, but still your also completely wrong
T3RR1FY! 26 Jul, 2019 @ 10:15pm
@249 Actually, uh they definently where citizens of ever country, im not sure where your getting this from, but they where definently accounted for, and I dont actually have facts to back it up but I believe there considered members of a certain branch of service.
Pri0n 26 Jul, 2019 @ 9:32pm
Fantastic, as always!
249 26 Jul, 2019 @ 3:30pm
Also, this looks amazing! My favorite part is the cockpit... It feels so realistic!
249 26 Jul, 2019 @ 3:23pm
dustfang61, I am not sure that belongs here and besides, most of the people who have made space attainable were "non citizens" of countries.
dustfang61 26 Jul, 2019 @ 2:49pm
such a shame out country would rather pay for non citizens then going into space :'| we prob will never be belt miners
OctoBooze  [author] 25 Jul, 2019 @ 1:20pm
And guides are up! They're made on a whim but they cover all the points and show a full mission in survival mode from start to finish. Hope they are of help anyone who may have trouble figuring things out.
