Will this mod work if the only DLC I don't have is BNW? I have G+K and all other add-ons except for BNW.

This mod has vanished from my mods folder, and now I can't reinstall it! I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing, quitting and restarting. I see it's also not on CivFanatics. Is there any way to get this still, or is it obsolete?

Thank you so much for your quick response. I do know you have to be next to the target, I've played Haida before, since it first came out, many moons ago. This may have something to do with the Community Balance Patch, i don't know, and I've taken up enough of your time already. I will just have to experiment and see. You have written so many good civs and I am very grateful indeed. I, for one, appreciate your outstanding work! As for getting the civ iv traits to work, well, not everyone is as conscientious about responding as yourself, and the author has stated he is finished with the mod and will no longer support it. Oh well. Again, thanks!

Hello, I have just tested in game (v24) and the attacks work just fine (remember that you have first move adjacent to target, then attacking is available). Specific direction is asking the author of civ IV traits. Good luck.

Your fix worked, but now the attacks on land don't work....is there a way to fix that? also, i have tried and tried to get civ iv traits to work, including adding Koyah to the civ iv traits compatibility leader list, but nothing seems to work. Is there any way to give me more specific directions? i really like this civ and if any civ should be seafaring, it's this one. Help? Please?

To fix without updating, open "HaidaLSTraitCode.lua" and delete lines 41 and 46.
GameEvents.UnitSetXY.Remove(CanAttackCoast)
GameEvents.UnitSetXY.Add(CanAttackCoast)

No chance. You can do it on your own if you like. Hint: find where in the mod you want to support is the compability code with firaxis's civs (like Egypt) and make adequate change. Use notepad to move around, to find a name of Haida civ/leader, go to the mod folder.

No problem. I have made another update, it should be slightly more user friendly, code is now separately treat human and AI players... Without technical stuff, it is a bit improved.

After the update I started a brand new game and the war canoe worked fine. Due to a crash I started a second game with the Haida but the ability to attack on land did not work. I was adjacent to the enemy on a coast line and still didn't work. I will try more new games and test.

Can you precisely describe the problem?
Take in note, that all this attacking land thing is quite complicated. First of all, you can attack only if you adjacent to enemy (therefore, you first have to move closer and then attack). Secondly, if you go on incorrect land plot (where there is no enemy) - ability is temporary disabled. You will have to move in order to activate it again. It is all related to AI-behaviour so it doesn't get stuck in infinite loop.
Upon game reloading, it seems that ability is not checked properly, you will have to move as well.
You also have to be a Haida (if you have somehow war canoe as other civilization ~ it will not work).

Steam sometimes fail to download mods. You can use http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/ and copy mod to your Mod folder.

Thanks for reporting. I think I had planned some changes in the past and cut the code, while yesterday I mainly updated Khmer's leader image and Hetmanate a bit. Very sorry.
I have reverted the Haida to version 15 (attack on land is Haida's trait ~ tested, working).

It builds Farms, Plantations and Pastures (can clear Forests, Jungles, Marshes).

Okay, this Khmer Empire is super fun to play. Their unique Warrior rivals the Pathfinder and Jaguar for the greatest Unique Starting Unit. Constructing Farms, Pastures, Plantations, and chopping Forests? A+

Is it at all possible to get these as individual downloads? I'm trying to compile a map with links to civs, and would like to link to the Haida as their own link.

The same goes for many of your other mods - it's hard to point people towards a civ download if it includes other civs as well.

I was looking for North America civ with two critteria:
~Totem Pole
~Scalping (Haida were headhunters so they matches)
Huge amount of materials I found was focusing on Haida, presenting them as dominant "vikings" of the region. I wasn't truely consider other options, because Haida seems perfect (culture, military, naval civ).

Steam problem.
Try deleting Civ5ModsDatabase from "...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache" (default location).

Thanks for the mod,it's really great! The only misstake which I noticed is the name of Hetmanate capital city. Kiev - is the russian variant of the name, ukrainian version is Kyiv.Believe me, I was born in Kyiv. Hope you will change it:)

You can't build once upgrade the unit, but fighting should cause no problems.
