i couldn't update the old mods because of the new UI (after 1.29)...
this mess is exactly why i waited more than one year to update my mods.. but then people were getting impatient and the problem was not solved.. so ultimately i decided to just upload new versions for the new UI!
this of course is not ideal but it will have to do. (blame paradox for the new retarded mod UI!)
just unsubscribe from the old mods and then refresh your steam mods. that should solve your issue.
I have reuploaded new (1.29) versions of (most) my mods. These had to be reploaded because I couldn't update the old ones due to the crappy new UI.
I have put links to the updated versions under the old mods' description.
Sorry that this update took so long.
I'm aware my mods need updating but i'm rather busy rn.. so i'll do it when i can.
is it not usable in its current state? because the mod UI does say it is outdated but the mod should still work... unless it's something with ET (?)
indeed! as usual a lot of missed opportunities with Paradox...
well i dont like reposting. i may have to resort to that but not yet. besides this version should be working fine (i think)
if you got it in the launcher then i think you done the previous steps correctly. it should work!
my issue regarding updating the mods is with the authenticity test they've added onto the new mod UI. basically all the 1.28 mods or older cannot be updated... or at least directly they cannot. if i find an indirect way of getting around that issue then i will ofc update my old mods asap.
u can just paste the mods in the mod folder and it works as usual.
im not exactly sure how to update the older mods at the moment. let's hope i'll find a solution...
use this link to get the updated version: https://1drv.ms/f/s!ANNPjuR6RV-iaQ
Hey, is this mod compatible with the Manchu Update as it is or does it need updating?
so i tried a quick fix by updating the files using the new ET mods. it should work. if it doesnt, describe the problem to me.

hmm that's weird. because my mod has nothing to do with the map. it is possible however that they updated the cb_types, subject_types, and/or dip_tech. in that case there will be an issue with ET. i'll have to take a look at their new stuff, but even then i still can't figure out how to update the older mods using this new UI.
i dont even understand why this sudden UI change was necessary... -_-
that was my assumption, that it should work. however thats not the case--maybe its due to ET's new province layout? i think thats the most glaring change. they switched to the typus map
i have tried to update it, but cant figure out this new UI thingy... having said that im sure if you run the 1.28 version of the mod it will work fine with the 1.29. they didnt add anything that conflicts with this mod.
client states normally take up a diplo slot and this mod is not related to client states... did you mean to comment this on my client states expanded mod? xD
yes, you need 'art of war' (the dlc that allows for revolution mechanics to be enabled) for this feature to work.
check the link i have given in my Expanded mods collection.
Now the mod allows for almost all CBs on neighbours to be valid if the targets are neighbours of your non-tributary subjects. The affected CBs include: revolutionary, holy war, defender of faith, purge heresy, horde CBs, and force tributary for Heavenly Empire.
