This mod is great, but disappeared from my list. I tryed to download by myself, but the archive is downloaded as something that is not an steam mod file type, so steam can't read it at all. Somebody has a solution?

Does this civ still work with NYAEMP because it hast appeared with that map pack for around a year now.

Nice civ. Thanks. I got an event that caused barbarians to capture my cap. I can't seem to find any pointers to this event: "A New World Order". Is this event from this civ?

i tried a couple of civs and cant click on the city production so i cant even advance a turn

One of the best modded Civs in Civ5 workshop. I noticed something, you can trigger the UA by capturing a Great Prophet instead of when it is born. This can be abused by capturing an AI prophet, triggering the UA then letting the AI capture it again, then capturing it again and so on.

my comment is that the +2 science per jungle should be changed, as jungles aren't in the middle east

It's weak yes but that's not how it works. Madrasah gives 3 base science (as does a university) and will add this amount by 1 for each 10 faith in the CITY, that city only. Then its 33% modifier (same as university) will be applied to the raw science (population, terrain, buildings) which will total to a reasonable amount.

Isn't the madrasah incredibly weak? The highest faith output i've ever had is around 220 per turn globally and that's an absurd amount which results in 22 science if you have them in every city.

@Magnum Dong, @Feldmarschall - Every reputable historical source lists Saladin as likely a Kurd.

He had other brothers too, not all of them with Turkish names. So spare us your tangential evidence and nationalist nonsense.

Also, ethnicity and disputes between Kurds and Turkish were largely irrelevant back then. This is all very modern. Furthermore, ethnic and racial disputes are very 19th century Western European. These ideas were exported and became very successful all across the world.

Do you see the irony? By being a Turkish nationalist you're actually just adopting the views of 19th century western european romantics, such as the Germans Herder and Fichte.

In my game their mamluk unit was invisible. The icon was there on the field, the button in the menu and civilopedia, but the unit ingame was invisible. Any dependencies or something?

Masdrasah doesn't seem to provide any extra science for city faith; i've even tested it with an 100 faith city.

@Pouakai I figured out the problem. Apparently, the YnAEMP needs to be installed BEFORE I install this mod. Deleting the mod and reinstalling it once again after I installed the YnAEMP fixed the problem.

By the way I want to congratulate you for this great mod. As an Arab/Egyptian, I think this mod is one of the best mods that represent the Arabian civilization in general and Saladin in particular. It is very unique and very historically accurate and captures the Muslim empire in the Middle Ages being an empire built upon religiously motivated conquests and religiously motivated scientific advances like no other.

I have many ideas for similar mods, representing Middle-Eastern civilizations from different periods and would like to collaborate with you if you are still doing such mods.

I tried it on v22 .. Whenever I am choosing the civs I don't find Saladin in the drop-down list for selection, I tried all maps available but my favourite is djvan♥♥♥♥'s 'Greatest Earth Map'.

Yeah, it'll still work on the original four maps, just not on the newer ones (Nile Valley etc)

What map are you using? It'll only have support for the original ones, it hasn't been updated for v23 yet
