COOL SSTO!!

Great to know! I only learned some of these after finishing the original design, I'll take better care of aerodynamic drag in my future builds, thank you!

@Juggemoob, wow, never expect the original designer will notice this.
I do experiment a lot to reduce drag. Actually, any open node or unmatched node in KSP will introduce a great amount of drag. Also, things like RV-105 RCS and extendable ladder are also pretty bad for aero.
However, I was not able to 100% maintain the look of your design which is a little drawback.

Brilliant spaceplane for interplanetary exploration!

Hi, walrus of war.
You should started with 0 pitch until you reach 400m/s, then pitch up just a little.
To me 0 ~10 degree profile means you will gradually reach 10 degree at 20 000 m altitude. Not stay in 10 degree from the beginning.

Actually, if you are bad at control. you can just started with 1 degree pitch and hands free, the craft will reach 10~15 degree pitch eventually.

I can't get to orbit following a 10 degree ascending profile. Eventually I start slowing down
