The effect should play for all players. The command is vnt_voip_filter_timeout <integer> to set the filter timeout.
Nice, what's the command? And that is a good way to think of it. Also, is the overlay there for other players as well?
You can adjust the length of the overlay with a console command. I had issues with the overlay getting stuck on during high latency so I just made it cut off. Think of it as the comm channel stabilizing.

I think there was a toggle command but I don't remember the exact syntax.
Are there any commands to enable/disable the functionality of the addon?
It should work by default, I downloaded it via Workshit and it was working last I tried.
Oh okay, are there any commands that may be used to activate or deactivate the VOIP? That is, if it isn't enabled automatically upon installation.
I tried it and it still worked so I don't know what's wrong with it.
I'll post the announcement in my Steam group.
Try putting it on the server and see if that fixes it.
