lets say you get 100% trade attractiveness and a trust cap of + 80 (and because ur a scammer) it goes down over time
the trust goes even into the negatives because uh scammer and trade value goes to 0%
basically insane start and after awhile doing politics gets harder and harder
A real suggestion though: make the GEC civic also decrease border friction, if that can be modified from civics.
If you can make it more advanced, go for super decreased border friction with empires you have positive relations with, and moderately increased border friction with empires you have less than neutral relations with or have declared you as a rival, and super increased if you close your borders to them.
Divide by Zero doesn't sound like a trait that has any positives. What benefits do you get out of solving the problem?
Given the flavor text for Galactic Expressway Corporation, I feel like non-waring non-owned ships should get a small, fixed penalty to energy maintenance which gets added as a monthly bonus to your energy income. Would encourage taking abnormal systems to get some free money, as well as leaving your borders open even to unfriendly nations.
I really like the Doomslayer one. That sounds hella awesome.

Technological Necromancy
Through centuries of combined scientific effort, this society has managed to defeat death! ... sort of. Few people realize that in the procedure, approximately 10% of all brain tissue is lost, and it gets even worse with each iteration. However, nobody seems to mind a little brain rot, leading to a society that is effectively ruled by a group of decomposing corpses.
-Upon death, Leaders are returned to the leader pool for 3 months
-Resurrected Leaders recieve a stacking penaty to learning speed and leader upkeep as well as a random negative trait
(Penalty is -25% learning speed and +200% leader cost and upkeep per resurrection)
Requirements
Is some degree of Materialist
I would love something like aggressive advertising but for pacifists where they send food and propaganda instead of bombs to make it so the population wants to join your side and causes unrest once/if it's back in the former empires hands. This and emergency FTL drives working really quickly will add a type of warfare that's not about killing haha.
Narcissistic Nation
This hivemind was artificially created by an ultra-rich excentric who wanted to live in a world where everybody was as beautiful and brilliant as him, her or it. Not just because the universe would be better for it, but also because normal societies just do not appreciate true ingenuity.
-All leaders are an exact copy of the ruler
-Ruler can gain traits from any leader class, except for negative traits because they are perfect
-Ruler traits can be customized and genetically modified like species traits
I'm not sure if the mechanics would actually work in the engine and yes, this civic was inspired by Endless Space 2's Horation faction. I do believe though that it would be a pretty good fit.
if you have made any other mods id be very happy to know about them.
It is just a total nut-case.
Once you complete the research, you will "ACTUALLY DIVIDE BY ZERO."
This grants "Infinity Equation" empire modifier as reward, which is massive boost.
However, whether it is worth of an effort and pain, or not, is uncertain.
