NSB changed the border conflict code so yes, update required.
And it may not be easy, ther eare other border conflict mods, one of which I tried to fix but at this time still no progress.

Just a quick update: the new paradox launcher does not load other mods apart from my only local mod. I've tried to also launch the game with this mod and it just crashes so this might take longer than expected to fix.

I have been working on a modern overhaul mod lately, sorry for that. I will try to find time to fix the problems with this mod. As for AI, I would have to hardcode a lot since AI coding isn't dynamic in HOI4. I can give certain nations border conflict mentalities like Japan or African colonies.

Strange, Things have been going wrong with decisions with the new update, I'll try to look into it - but it's probably just too many states bordering you so too many decisions, I'll add in a rule that can allow people to disable it in game
