Can u define formations stacks in the world map so you can use it in auto combat?

For naval battles, does this prevent defenders from moving multiple ships into firing range, and focus firing cannons at the attacking ships/units before the attackers get a chance to move?

Could you please give more details about how you edited the AoW_TC_Core.rpk? I can't seem to find where the deployments are defined. Also, is it possible to change the deployment for each site individually? I'd like to change the deployments for the Castle of the Lich King, moving the defenders way further in the back of the site. Thanks!

Since in a normal battle both sides have the same formation, it should not favor anybody. What it does do is put a bit more distance between the combatants starting out.

The question I ask myself is does it favour the defender or the attacker, It suggests that it favours the attacker.anyone who have any input on this?.

Wow! That was swift! Thank you very much! I will see how it behaves now, but just finished my game so it'll take some time. ^^

Actually been using EG myself, but unfortunately had some conflicts with another mod while PD doesn't have any (for me) building wise, hope it'll work now! Thanks again! :3

The new formation is tighter and behind the wall so there should be few conflicts. Maybe Premium Defenders is creating a conflict? (I do not use that mod; I use Enhanced Garrison)

I updated the Fortress defense formation; All units start behind the walls. It is designed to simplify deployment onto the walls. Feedback welcome.

Unfortunately I don't know how to figure out what mod modifies which file... Strange thing is the other deployment mod seam to work flawless - installed after deactivating yours. And running the game in debug mode gave me some errors regarding unit placement where there are already some units?

That was also not the first battle, I had quite a few and also for a fortress prior to the city (6 VS. 3 - got no extended regiments mod)
Only mod I can dream of that would conflict would be Premium Defenders, but there was no garrison build in said city??

That's strange. I run over 40+ mods myself and have had no problems. The mod only changes one file: AoW_TC_Core. Do you know if any of the mods change that file? Also was this the first battle of that game?

Great Mod! Unfortunately seam to be causing quite some stability issues for me. I'm not sure if it's just my build, since I got dozens of mods, but nothing would make sense to me why there would be incompatibility issues.

This was definitely the cause when I besieged an enemy metropolis. 1 Group of 6 people for me and 2 groups, 6 in the city and 3 outside.
Crashes the instant on loading the battle map with the mod and worked flawlessly without. Really hope you can fix it, because it's truly a must-have mod!

Nice. Always hated the starting setup with a full 6 man army. I'll give this a go next game.
