The theory is easy...
ArmA material that is public, can be reused for ArmA... As long as it is shared under the same license.
If you take the sources directly from the Bohemia Interactive files, you have to mention them.
If for example you take the files from me, you have to mention me & BI.

Hello, Jove. I have been a mod, mission & island maker for Operation Flashpoint for about 15 years. - I checked and read the Public License URLs you shared above but it was still not satisfactory so had to ask you directly. Was going to ask you for permission to use all these static buildings in Arma: Cold War Assault. - I know, it's an old one, but there are still a significant number of nostalgia-loving, core Operation Flashpoint/Arma:CWA veterans in the community. If I could get them to play with these stuff, well, there wouldn't be a single person who wouldn't be happy about it.

If the answer is negative, thanks anyway. But frankly, I sincerely wish it wasn't negative.

Is my game supposed to be running at about -9 FPS even on an empty map?
This PC is basically brand new... I can run South Asia at max draw distance at 60fps, yet I can't even take off on this map without dipping into slideshow levels.

Like it says, on the ground it's bad in places, from the air it's great. Best used with helos, as you'd probably expect! :D

@Turing Tested the map isn't built for ground missions, mainly aircraft. Everything is meant for scenery from a distance unless you put in the work yourself to make a particular landing spot look decent when close up.

Map is terrible. Enemies shoot through buildings, roads are barely put together, you can fall through bridges,very low effort put into the buildings themselves. I dont think I came across one I could enter. Needs a LOT of work, as for now its just something to look at from far away.

With a little work you can manage to decorate an area and prepare it for a helicopter insertion.
I have tried several missions like this and it was fun.

Also amphibious landings since Seattle has a lot of coastline.

@Otter Freedom lot of the urban areas are usable but not detailed, much better to use with aircraft primarily.

They are on the map, it is the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremeton. A simplified version of the ArmA2 warships and aircraft carriers.
There are cruise ships off the coast of Seattle. :summer2019city:
Also in the ToH CORE you have various prop ships such as cargo and fuel ships.

Sorry for the disappointment, it is true that the buildings have no interior or that the map is better for aerial use.
But keep in mind that it is from the generation of ArmA 2 and Take on Helicopters, games that many houses had no interior either and were based on area missions with helicopters.
I just set aside the map as best as possible to ArmA 3, but trying to make it player for infantry is an almost impossible mission for one person.
Maybe someday we will have an official DLC called Seattle 2035.

+ the roads are like in the mountain they are not straight. when driving you will end up in cliffs/unstraightened roads. should be fixed aswell. + alot of buildings are copy pasted.

Very nice map indeed. Impressed by this. Has some bugs like Trees on the roads and bridges/roads that dont allign/work together could use some updates aswell in buildings and the developer should make all roads black and not grey. 8/10

Unfortunately, BUwU, it is not...
It is an adaptation of the terrain of the game Take On Helicopters, which of course was about flying helicopters.
The map is just as it was, only with a few implementations of improvements that Arma 3 includes over time.
A good mission editor, creating a little bit of ground action, fixing the terrain issues and decorating the streets, could make for a great helicopter insertion mission.
But you are absolutely right in your comment.

There is a GitHub of the mission you mention, but it would need some hard work from a programmer to make it functional again, I'll pass you the link in case you are interested.

Out of curiosity, in the main section of seattle there are a fair amount of skyscrapers you can walk, shoot, and be seen by AI through. Are there any plans to fix this?

I really wish there were more maps like this for ARMA.

Urban conflict is something I was shocked we didn't see more of in-game.
