its as stated in desc these weapons use old cythons energy weapon scrip which was made before the bubble shield and reputations of factions im working on new weapon mod that uses whiplash script as anti shield and vanila+ framework to create guided torpedos without need of weapon core but the fixed weapons range will be set to 10km with guided at max 7,5km at least thats the plan if all goes well it should be uplouded within next 10 days

i have only been using this mod for a few days but i'm loving it so far

i have found 1 bug for sure and 1 possible bug but the possible bug is related to another mod the first bug is that i don't lose any reputation when these weapons hit which doesn't effect usability but i figured i should mention it

the second bug is to do with these and the bubble shield mod ether the heavy plasma launcher or the burst plasma launcher pass right through the bubble shield

i use both Cython's shield mod and the bubble shield mod on the same ship i use Cython's for landing mishaps and the bubble shield for my main shields and i was testing these against some MES ships with the shields and modded weapons mods for it and noticed these passing through the bubble shield at first i thought it was just a visual bug because i have seen that with gats before but then i start losing turrets and check and the bubble shields are at 100% but Cython's are drained BTW these work great with Cython's shield mod

once you fidn the sound you want just change its format to be suported in SE then find in your mod folder, folder with 1585421464 in name rename your sound file to match the name of the gun you want and replace as for the range find file block definition and find your gun in the list and change its range in there you can change even the angles like if youw ant the gun to shot in 90 degree cone you can set it there its good way to limit powerful guns to not destroy your ship

Again I'd go with the Rotary Cannon Audio. Really good but not so loud. As for moding the range i meant increase not decrease XD

you might be right there are a lot star wars weapon i could just copy paste the sound file from one of them that we find working and you can easily edit the mod file to reduce the range

Actually with the exception of its 800 Meter range your Plasma Burst turrets are EXACTLY what i need! though I think them sounding like the Rotary Cannons from the Star Wars Weapons mod would make them more Audio Friendly IMO But that's just me.

also if you want you can take the mod yourself i still use this creation of mine for my older ships but now that weaponcore is real deal i will mainly use that the only issue i newer managed to fix is the damm sound files sometimes they load ok and sometimes only one side play

they have ammo but it self make the ammo by draining energy i didnt dare to mess with the basic script mechanics of the weapons as i only changed values of dmg firerate and costs thats all

juliusz ave i know about that issue with the sound and i tryed to fix it but didnt manage im noob when it comes to this and the original sount didnt worked at all and about the big small grid turret it have close same dmg as large grid missile turret as such i think the size is compensating its power for small grid also non of the models are mine as its stated in description if you have some sound effect that you want into it you can send me a link and i will try my best

also best way to use the large small grid turret is to make ship around it as core

Hi. Large (small) 25 mm PDC turret small is large block but with connection to small block. This is too big for small ships. Can you change this to small block or cant do that ?

thats weird that it does becose that was old error in audiobut i fixed it in later version uninstal and reinstal the mod it should fix the issue if not write me again and once i have time i will look at it

thats why the guns are expensive compared to vanilla as they generate own ammo to fire which means you dont risk cargo container exploding in middle of ship when filled with ammo

the only way to create suply of ammo for the Heavy Plasma Launchers is by leaving the gun on with enougth energy and connect to it cargo with programable block and set it for the cargo to collect the ammo from the guns rest of the guns are not that energy consiming and also if you wanted to suply ammo to guns you need conveyer port which only Heavy Plasma Launchers and torpedos have smaller guns no

ok all sounds work but cannon had to be set to mono so only left speaker will play its sound sorry but all other sound efects are fixed now

my god im terripbly sorry everyone something must went wrong during the uploud the sound effect is horrible i will restore the original sound from the star trek mod so it should work again im -extremly sorry ihave been using the local copy the whole time thats why i didnt found this error
