if someone have an idea if it's a conflict between some mods but i think it's weird or my loading order or anything else
what i mean by the legions is, as in the legion mods I'd published, there were the original 15 Marius reforms ones that were basically principes using the old style shields with legionary art, they'd then get replaced.
then there was the upgrade to use the flat top/rounded side shields, a half way point between the marius reform legionaries and the imperial ones.
I haven't played vanilla in so long that I forgot it completely skipped legions using the pre marius republic era shield that featured in the original caesars legion mod
i dont know what you mean by "merge the caesar and augustus era" they are split into the vanilla progression system rome 2 has and dei mantains, i just made them upgradeable like you can do in vanilla, to their actually historically accurate imperial versions, when these legions were refounded or merged in real life.
Also, pure interest here, I wondered what the reason was for merging the 1st and 2nd generations of legions seen in other mods, what i call the Caesar era and the augustus era?
