Shadow: You only need this - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=186231247 to have everything from us created and updated for Rome 2. Load order on that does not matter.

Alethom, you can Sack in Rome II, if you ever played any of the Nomadic factions or a few other raiding playstyle factions it was an option. Radious has just opened it up for all factions I'm guessing.

Can someone explain me this? Now I can sack a settlement like in Attila, without need of conquering it fully?

Liberate - small 500 talents income
Vassal - small 400 talents income
Loot - Most income gained (vary per settlement), slightly smaller damage to buildings, public order hit -25
Occupation - 700 talents income, public order hit -20 + slightly more per different cultures
Raze - 1000 talents income, public order hit -35
Sack - 1800 talents icome, slightly less damage to structures, not all are destroyed, public order hit -30

Work on update is gonig sofar very well, we already put into it over 100 hours cause pretty much everything requires an update or overhaul + we are adding tons of new things on top of all that! Around 75% things should be fully in and updated now, after we do all we will start heavy testing, cause there is really lot things to test to ensure all will be working for you very well! Today i have for you some news!

We have started to work on something related to Rome 2, its secret now, but i think you can guess what it will be! :-)

We have had in the team big disscussion about our future projects, plans and what all we want to do and what all we can manage (cause its really a lot last few years with all these new TW games and our team support all of them!).

But we do like our fans and players more then anything and even if this will be very difficult for us to manage, we will try!

No ETA yet, no more info, you all will be informed when right time comes, but yes, something is coming!

Titles which are updated with our mods for latest game version and support all dlcs are these: Shogun 2, Attila, Warhammer 1, Warhammer 2 and Thrones of Britannia. We are active in modding for over 12 years. And as said modding TW games require more and more time. To maintain and update all we need your help and support. Just to imagine i recently returned home from hospital where i was on stomach surgery which was result most probably from recent stress and overwork. Ye i do have a regular daily job, modding wont really feed me. :-)

So please dont get angry, if you think our work is worth it consider supporting us and if we get there i will do my absolute best to update and rework all once again. If not there are plenty other TW games with Radious content. New dlc i would expect in 1-3 months for Rome 2 from now.

Good day everyone! You know very well that our mods working only on patch 17 which was over 3 years final update and dont support last 2 dlcs. Another 3. Is on the way and once its here we will remove/hide our mods from workshop.

We dont want to keep on workshop outdated content, that is not our way and we simply dont have time or resources to rework the mod entirely again. We asked last september for support on our site https://www.patreon.com/Team_Radious to help us reach our next goal which would allowed us to dedicate more time on this and return to Rome 2 once again. Goal 3.was not reached so we focus fully on newer TW games and primary now on WH2, ToB and next year we will add to those 3K.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR MODS! The game freezes on startup if I have your mods activated... only with yours. Doesn't happen with other minor old mods.

Thanks Radious for your work over the years. It saddens me to see that your team may not be updating current mods going forward.
I understand your predicament as new games are released and new DLC's/patches mean updates are needed. You have your own life, and need to make money so limits your time to keep all your modding content working up to date.
I personally will not be donating as there is no gaurentee that the mods will be kept updated, as you have monthly goals needed to continue updating.
Also I have already bought the game and DLC's on the condition that the mods are part of the package.
Creative Assembly should be assisting you in maintaining the mods, as your work has brought many players to Total War games, and kept them coming back for the next TW games making them alot of money.
Is the RADIOUS Team prepared to allow other modders to update your mods and publish them on Steam?

We are rebuilding our plans for this year. Its the most complex one in terms of TW releases. We are fully occupied by WH trilogy, in less then 2 months Thrones of Brutannia will be released and during september Three Kingdoms. All this will be massive amount of work for our tiny team to keep our overhauls well polished and maintain quality for another 2 games. However we know many of you still play Rome 2 and we are open to return to it once again even we considered game finished for three years. I have to agree with Himmelstoss. If you are going to make a mod then you need to be committed to updating it until the platform is fully updated. Not doing so is just a slap in the face to the people who still play, regardless of their lower numbers.

Dear Radious. I can surely imagine that immature, frustrated, know it all players can be quite annoying sometimes, but..... you could have stuck to only telling reverting back to patch 17. I am thankfull for that info, since this solved my Rome 2 problem :-)

That is all well and good but only if someone plays the game only using your mods. My experiance of late has been that mixing mods that are updated for patch 18 on the patch 17 beta causes the game to crash or freeze.

I quite enjoy this mod, to me it feels like the way the game is meant to be played and makes playing the vanilla campaign unappealling. Consequently I made a copy for myself to play and I updated the copy and hammered out a bug that was causing the mod to crash the game in the time it took me to drink a cup of tea, so roughly 5-10 min. This being so I am going to have to disagree about the time and effort needed to update a mod.

If you dont want to update the mod you should just say so.

Corporal Himmelstoss: Updating takes seconds....yeah right. Sorry but with those words i lost any interest talking to you, cause you "clearly know" what you talknig about. And mod is fully operational on patch 17 as it was last 3 years. This is the only thing which takes seconds - switchnig to patch17.

We are fully nvolved in Attila, Warhammer 1 and 2 and planning to go on Thrones of Brittania. With tiny team of 2 people right now there is no more strength or resources to go back to game which is for us finished for many years.

We asked for support from Rome 2 fans, but lack oninterest showed us that people dont care about Rome 2 anymore or simply have no issues playing on patch 17. Which solves the problem for us.

This is rediculous guys, I make mods for total war so I know how easy it is to update them. If ya'll were thinking of making direct campaign modifications for the new campaign I totally understand that such a task would be very time consuming, but merely updating the base mod takes seconds.

On a similar note ya'll need to change the file names to something different from the base game files, this is causing the game to crash.

Good evennig all! About returning to Rome 2 and modding it again cause of this "unwanted" dlc we made small article published several weeks ago - https://www.patreon.com/posts/team-radious-to-15277487

You can still play our mods on patch17:

1. Open "Games" in Steam go right click on "Total War: Rome 2" in your games list.
2. Select "Properties"
3. Select the tab "Betas"
4. Select the option "patch_17" in the drop-down list

After this change the old "patch_17" will be downloaded and you can play your old save games of your RADIOUS campaigns further. But the new patch and DLC content isn't available.

If you want the new patch/DLC again, then you can de-select the "patch_17" in the drop-down list and choose "NONE - unsubscribe from all beta programs" that the newest patch will be downloaded and the new patch and DLC content is available.

Hi! Can I ask a question?Is it possible for you to create a mod where you can recruit local units depending on culture in province (only the worst ones)?

I'll try to explain:
1. As Egypt:
Egiptian infantry - local unit. Can be recruited only if more than 15% of egyptian culture.
If you concuer a gaul territory you can hire only gallic basic units till you have 15% hellenic culture. Otherwise your barracs for your professional hellenic army are useless. You can't hire egyptian infantry there in any case, you are hellenic culture.
As Messalia you cant hire gallic units except in Gaul.
As Seleucid you cant hire eastern axemen and other eastern units except in provinces with eastern culture. If you concuer Greece they cant be recruited because of culture.
If you councuer Siria playing as Egypt you can recruit hillmen and a.c. but can't hire Egyptian ones.

DEI has something similar but this mod works slowly. What do you think about this idea? Or a mod like I this already exists?Thanks:)

Hi. Am I the only one or in the Wrath of Sparta thare is a little problem with seasons ? The dynamic of the seasons is completely different in the wrath of sparta, taking a monnnnnth for each turn...
