if when you refere to how the funels freeze the turrets, in what I like to call a time dilation field :)
if you try it:
turrets must be on speed gel. if not, they normally fall over & die.
the funel must not be on, when the map loads.
as they also normally fall over & die.
you then can turn the funel on & off, as often as you like.

their is 2 links.
one is a great item limit guide.
the other tells you how to copy the exits, entrances & large observation rooms.
be carefull about the entrances, as they are about 350 entities (varies, but will be near that)
once copied, these items cannot be deleted. (undo still works)
with multiple exits, the lift only comes to one.
they can start with some open & others closed.
but what you do to 1, will do the same to all.
even if a button is only connected to one.
I will answer your comment on funeldrum, when I update the map.
people keep breaking my maps :(

I just updated it, to hopefully stop the exploits.
& enter the exit chamber, from the turret side, the 1st time.
how I recovered this map from my dead pc:
I used a hard drive dock.
removed the hard drive, from my dead pc.
placed in my new hard drive dock.
then accesed it from my new pc.
to access the hard drive in the hard drive dock.
click start / computer / the hard drive appears hear.
just access like any files & folders, from hear.
it's a great hardware for this purpose :)
also recovered my emails, contacts, loads of video's etc :)
I have my old dead pc.
it just makes a beeping noise.
nothing at all on monitor.
I had backed up my maps.
but then made more & was going to back them up as well.
but the pc died before I backed this map & another.
I think I will get the files eventualy, given time.
was thinking of puchasing a harddrive dock,
to access them & other files from my old pc's hard drive.
I suspect, that the harddrive, itself might be ok.
so I think this should work.
but so much to do this time of year.
so may take a while.
you are right about copy & paste.
as previous maps are successfuly backed up & now copied to my new pc.
I suggest if you have not backed yours up, that you do soon.
I use an external harddrve to back mine up.
& every now & then, copy that onto a 2nd external harddrive.

you found a few exploits.
unfortunatly, shortly after publishing this map, my old pc died.
taking this map with it.
so I can't update it, untill I find a solution, to retrieving it.
but I have saved the address, to your video.
so I might update, in the future, if I retrieve the map, hopefully ?

but be carefull.
as you cannot delete them.
which could later cause problems, with the idem limit.
also the original exit, is the only exit, that the lift will come to.
if you go through the other exits (the copies).
the lift will not come & you will see a very bright light.
also the player will not be able to rate or comment on your map.
this is why I permenantly block the copied exits.

here my last map . I'm surprised you can't enter my workshop
I just tried to see if you had any maps, for me to play.
but your profile is set to private.
so I cant see your workshop.
tip no. 1, in the description, answers your problem.
the buttons in the screenshot, do not connect to the exit or exits.
but what you do to 1 exit, happens to all.
so you should have left them open, in the 2nd chamber.
the 2 buttons there, connect to all 4 exit doors.
so if you leave them open there.
they will be open in the last chamber.
but you do need the 2 cubes, in the last chamber, as well.

Just a question. This is it normal. The two cubes are placed and the doors are not open? Otherwise, well, I still do not see the solution.

I strongly recommend watching the 2 video's before playing.
so you can get the most out of it.

if you mean, activating & then deactivating the turret,
an infinite number of times. I know.
this was my design goal.
otherwise, the player would just walk to the exit.
but bug caused turrets to die, when funel hit them on start of map.
so I put panels above them, to block the funels, until after the map starts.
panels retract, when pressing the pedestal by the 1st 2 exits.
this fixed the problem.
but I did not test them infinitly, only a lot :)
so if they die, I would like to know.
maybe they will die, after a future portal 2 update ?

ironicaly the external hard drive, I was going to use to do a complete backup of my old pc, (that died) arrived the following day :(

I just played your map: Curiously Different
the exact place, for the portal, that takes you to the door,
is just below the small observation room.
I put it thereas a guide & a non-portable area on the floor, to guide alignment.
this was to compensate, for the height, making a large portable wall,
almost imposible for precise portal placement.
but you were obviously close enough.
though I suspect you took a bullet or more, before exiting.
as for making more, I am having major pc problems.
but hopfully won't be to long.
luckily, I backed up all my maps, exept this one.
& steam sincs everything else :)
but may have to do a clean re-install soon (again)

due to the turrets in a time dilation field.
it gives the player as much time as they want.
to find the final solution, before releasing them.

which I was over, before building the final chamber.

no need to get killed by turrets,
if you think with portals.
after getting the cubes, if you place a portal above.
then go below & stand between the buttons.
a little nearer the back wall side.
have both cubes in reach.
& place a portal on the floor, between them.
then place the cubes on the buttons, without moving a foot.
then walk into the near floor portal, to the area above.
I never got killed, testing this map, for a change :)
the deep pit, is a clue to the last move.
but, I had flinging in mind, when I made the the chamber.
& did not think to reduce it later.
I was strugling with the item limit & had to delete things in previous chambers,
to build the last.
yet did not want an anti-climax in the final chamber.
so my mind (as long as the fling worked) was more on functionality.
I did put the small observation room & a non-portable area on the floor,
to help the player judge, where to place the portal, from above.
I also wanted the player entering the chamber & dropping from a great hieght,
to the area, guarded by turrets.
then think for a moment, they might have iminent lead posioning.
I hope you noticed the links in the description.
they were very helpfull in this map.
I could tackle the being over the items limit,
with a scalple, instead of a bulldozer :)

with regard to going back for the cubes.
I refrained from using fizzlers, between cube droppers & final room.
so you should have 1 or 2 portals in previous chamber.
even if the player fires 2 portals in the final chamber.
I give them a way back.
but I was going to make getting back,
using portals previously placed in previous chambers, imposible.
due to your feedback, I feel, still allowing use of them a good idea.
