im gonna rework it again. removing pilot cost from normal strike craft, but will be required for "hero strikecraft". also buildable strike craft with a little twist next update.

small balance update and reimplimented pilots. and made some jobs produce them at the start.

I've seen a lot of other modders rolling back to the previous launcher version to update their mods then updating to use them.

not version wise but shouldnt have an issue running. the whole new launcher thing and having to work out how to update. kinda burnt out my enthusiasm. and im still working on getting the buildable fighters part up and running.

building is not showing up, also tried typing in your suggestion, no joy, i get "invalid technology: tech_pilot_recruitment_1" as a response in red

should be called pilot recruitment center, its assigned to a starting tech. but i just tested it in a game i had going before i made this an it was given straight away.

i think the update may have broke my ironman game because now my carriers (the main power of my fleet) are uselsss, since the building doesnt show up as buildable

Build able and components

updates: added a new building and job, strike craft now require pilots to build, recruited through the new building.

moving onto the next phase. should i have the lower 2 ranked pilots be strike craft components or seperate buildable ships. the top 2 ranks will be buildable. as they are gonna be extremely powerful and it would suck to lose them when you lose the carrier

okay so there is no issue unless you already have ships with strike craft in your fleets(they disappear), but you just have to add the new ones and refit and its fine.

when i tested, it worked fine. only issue may be that it removes vanilla strike craft.

Should work fine i only removed the vannilla strike craft. the rest either uses vanilla assets or custom files.
