@BallsOfSteelBaby you have my permission. Sadly I couldn't keep the work on due to my personal time being crowded. If you wish I can make you an owner of this page, or transfer it completely to you.

Does this mod work with latest HIP?
ieatexplosives 25 Apr, 2020 @ 11:08am
Are there still plans to update for the new HIP?
MsL229 15 Apr, 2020 @ 3:54pm
Hey I have some slight problems with flags of the kingdoms like for example Poland, while Piast dynasty is looking normal, the Kingdom of Poland flag seems to not work or well, doesn't show the typical white eagle.
✞ St. Miz ✞ 27 Mar, 2020 @ 4:27pm
Does this work with the compatible update?
Vasikle  [author] 23 Mar, 2020 @ 4:51am
In some cases there could be some errors regarding the flags of some titles, or in some cases (muslims) this version is considered a bit more accurate, tho I would manipulate those things later on for better quality.
Evilstar 22 Mar, 2020 @ 8:29am
Thanks for this mod which fixed a conflicting flag bug between HIP and PS. But a question : why does it not keep Patrum Scuta's flags of several dynasties and titles, for example the Umayyads (white flag with PS), Fatimids, Abbassids, even the Byzantine Empire ? Because I prefer them the way they are in the original Patrum Scuta, so I was just wondering.
Anyway, good work !
Vasikle  [author] 20 Mar, 2020 @ 6:07am
Sadly not really, the mod uses CoA for pagan titles, and sometimes this causes random results, something that is consistent with the fact that the pagans lacked a concept of heraldry like Western Christian states, tho keeping common symbology.
Social Studies Warrior 19 Mar, 2020 @ 1:59pm
is there any way I can get this mod to stop randomizing the flags for hungary and other pagan nations and keep them static like in vanilla?
Grzesio 7 Mar, 2020 @ 10:29am
Please update for new hip, thanks!
✞ St. Miz ✞ 3 Feb, 2020 @ 11:22am
Sweet, good to know that it's still in development. Best of luck.
Vasikle  [author] 2 Feb, 2020 @ 3:07am
Indeed I do, and i technically still working on it when i have time, no dates tho for a further release or when it will be released.
✞ St. Miz ✞ 1 Feb, 2020 @ 7:43am
@Vasikle Are you still planning to introduce Immersive Evolutive Heraldry? Sounds like an interesting idea.
badonk commends all 24 Jan, 2020 @ 12:27am
@author is this compatible with the newest version of HIP Frosty1?
OSST 11 Jan, 2020 @ 4:40am
ok good to know I have default instellation too and hip with only your mod makes many flags not appera for example new byzantine coa however with my mod list enabled they do appear or atlesat many more of them
Vasikle  [author] 11 Jan, 2020 @ 3:37am
Some countries have new flags, others not, the fact that there are some problems is pretty well known, and I will try to figure out what could be the main problem, this being problematic due to the fact that HIP is a complex mod and depending on how you install it the mod may work 100% or just 50%, my installation for example is default all the modules are on and it works fine technically, tho there are problems i plan to fix soon.

The mod works for some but for many not for example byzantine empire or denmark are not changed but bohemia is for example any idea why it works for some and not for others maybe an update is required
Kaspy 12 Dec, 2019 @ 11:58am
It's sad that such a great mod conflicts with Rise to Power mod
Tactical Doll No.215 MDR AR 26 Nov, 2019 @ 9:29am
The flag of West liao dynasty ( kara khitan ) doesnt use new GFX ?
KoldPhire 12 Nov, 2019 @ 5:36pm
Great mod, however like others have mentioned it seems to have stopped working. I copied the contents of the file and overwrote them in the HIP mod folder. That worked for awhile, however I experienced black CoA's further into the game.

Not sure what needs to be done to fix this, but I really love Patrum Scuta and being able to finally use it with HIP was awesome. Look forward to future updates :)

no
Tate 3 Nov, 2019 @ 7:50am
If I have the Arkopack Active, would it conflict with this mod?
Vasikle  [author] 1 Nov, 2019 @ 5:35am
Maybe it has something to do with the new update ? I will take a look, and maybe update some things on the go.
isa0005 1 Nov, 2019 @ 3:51am
This mod has mysteriously stopped working for me as well. I will try the manual version and let you know if anything has changed.
Hrolfr 22 Oct, 2019 @ 6:23pm
This mods not working for me... I tried the steam version and the manual download
Vasikle  [author] 13 Oct, 2019 @ 12:04am
The thing is that the mod works as a dependency for HIP. So according to game logic HIP should be loaded first and after that my mod. If it happens otherwise Patrum Scuta won't override the HIP files. Any change to the name of HIP could cause problems, but I don't know what else could cause this. I will try to make the mod work without having problems regarding overwrites.

Ok I was desperate enough to just place the Patrum Scuta Data in the HIP folder and press overrite. I think it works now but I'm not 100% sure. It definitely looks better than before.
Sir Ugu of Uugg 11 Oct, 2019 @ 3:53pm
is there any chance that you could make it that Pagan COA, for one fit in that crest on map, the circle with all the runes, the new COA are not either big enough or centered, or if you could change the outline of the on map COA to be the rim of the shield like you have for the Dynasty COA that would be awesome
𝕶𝖔𝖓𝖘𝖙𝖎 11 Oct, 2019 @ 7:00am
I'm using the AKKOpack within the module installation. I also reinstalled hip several times and organized my mod folder but that didn't change anything.
Vasikle  [author] 11 Oct, 2019 @ 12:21am
This seems very weird. Are you using ARKOpack, and if you do, are you using it separately from the module installation ? I personally do not have this problem.
𝕶𝖔𝖓𝖘𝖙𝖎 10 Oct, 2019 @ 9:17am
Love this mod :). Sadly i got it working properly only once and that was by accident. The feudal shields seem to work as intended but the pagan round shields still use their old frames and therefore overlap, it's the same problem Scratchmen showed you (see here https://i.imgur.com/MQmXpjv.png ). I already tried both the Steam and the Direct Download version.
Vasikle  [author] 10 Oct, 2019 @ 7:58am
This mod is dedicated especially for ARKOPack users
|UKMD| Bodger 7 Oct, 2019 @ 4:12pm
But Patrum Scuta is already compatible with HIP, as long as you don't install the ARKOPack Armouries you can freely use and flag/dynasty flag mod you like
Vasikle  [author] 5 Oct, 2019 @ 6:23am
Well some Romanian historians take in account that the seven cities/seven hills may have an ancient origin, represting dacian settlements or refeering to the seven hills of Rome, yet i am 90% this is exagerated pseudo-history.
Solo 5 Oct, 2019 @ 4:17am
The problem is not that there are no earlier testimonies, as the various voivodes left several seals, but rather that there's no consistency. As for the seven hills, it's more recent than you think, since it replaced the previous medieval saxon emblems (triskel and/or crossed swords).
Vasikle  [author] 5 Oct, 2019 @ 3:59am
I will try to re-make the arms for Transylvania and some others. Indeed it could be later than 1530 yet it is ne of the earliest ones so i think i will stick to either the eagle or the 7 hills or both of them.
