In my opinion this modification would be better if a faction potential would be randomised only for factions which have unique not generic leaders for example factions such like Tong Yuri, Wang Kuan, Zhang Yang, Han Fu, etc. I find it very frustrating seeing Tong Yuri swallowing Yuan Shu like he is nothing it just makes game so annoying. :/

seem to be having trouble with this mod with WU king mod? there is something in the files that arent working together well when loading i get CTD

This is a really unique mod and great for replay ability. Its also really nice for factions starting in the south to have potentially belligerent neighbors instead of playing farmville for 60 turns.

Don't have any fixes for you since I'm not actively maintaining this. It's possible the Han empire split has some incompatibilities but doubt it would affect a new save.

@Seth AI potential is in vanilla, heavily weighted towards the stalwarts. It's used to make Cao Cao, Liu Bei, etc. very strong every game (like a minor faction at its best roll is worst than Cao Cao at his worst roll). The weighting is much more random in this.

Could you make a Records mode fatigue system for Romance? Other mods seem to be outdated. They're also not designed for tthe new 1.70 patch, which changes faitgue and morale (less hit damage and more morale reduction when fatigued, new state of "terror" for units).

New update has broken multiplayer campaign, at least from my testing. Instant desync in both new and existing games. Issue resolved when removing mod.

There are also new tweaks to encourage AI to spend more of their money...but that's a bit more of a crapshoot.

@markngkp - Relative to an umodded game, no. Relative to this mod, yes. There was randomization of factions that made minor/medium ones more powerful. It got cut in the last update.

Bright side is I was able to add it back in without any problems (Hence the update)...but I think it will require a new game to take effect.

Hi, just thought to say Iove your mod.

Could I just ask, though - has there been a change in how the different factions work? It used to be that the YT in MOH and many factions in the original campaign had at least 2-3 armies. Now, for the YT, each brother only has 1. As do most factions.

Try "More minor factions (from han empire)" and/or the outdated "Division of Empire"

I have no idea since it works with and without my other mods. Agree that owning "A World Betrayed" seems unlikely to be necessary but maybe?

Have you tried any other "Han split" mods? That's my guess for what might be causing it.

Ive tried with no other mods and tried reinstalling it, neither worked. I dont own "A World Betrayed" but not sure how that would be relevant.

Only running unit addon mods and a bunch of Alex Zhao mods at the moment, so I'm not sure which is causing any conflict. I can sit down and try to figure out later.

Probably something with that then. I don't have the last 2 DLC (though I'm sure it's only the most recent one causing the problem). Would you mind turning it off to find out?

That said, it'd be more intensive troubleshooting than I'll do for a while even after I buy the DLC. So no ETA unfortunately (though if somebody wants to figure it out, I'm happy to implement it).

I've got every DLC installed; running this on a 190 CE start-date. It crashes every time you try and boot up the game.

Still seems to crash for me, I don't know about anyone else. If anything, take your time to update it /overhaul it, no need to rush it.

Updated, now works. However, there were some incompatibilities. I don't have the time or inclination or troubleshoot them, so I removed them. Those two things were semi-randomized faction potential as well as the minister bonuses.

@DonkeyWorld Love this mod also. Thanks for putting the time into making it! Unfortunately I can't play it because of the early freebie commanderies.

Something seems to be causing this event/trigger to happen:

I can't be sure but my thinking is that the mod is causing several factors to line up to unintentionally cause this diplomacy trigger/event to fire. A likely fix would be to find a way to alter the conditions which need to be met for this to happen. A workaround could be to disable it entirely.

I've been hunting for it in the creation kit but I haven't been able to find it yet (and it doesn't help that I literally have 0 experience modding).

Nonetheless if anyone with the know-how figures it out, (or could point me in the direction of the event so I can make an attempt at it) it would be mightily grateful as I'd love to play with this mod.

@DonkeyWorld Sam thing as @PixelCross, playing as Cao Cao the Haan governors of Huainan and then Lujiang gave me their commanderies on turn 5 and 6 respectively. - as in when declaring independence, they handed over the territories to me, theye didn't create their own factions.

Made the early game way too easy since suddenly I was Second Marquis, could get another army without going bankrupt aand I could plow my way down south before Sun Jian while still fighting tao qian.

It seems that this mod effects the way releasing Administrators work, whenever I release an Administrator it releases them as an independency rather than as a vassal like CA changed it to be.

Love this mod but can't use it playing Sun Jian, I always randomly get gifted 1-2 commanderies within the first 5-10 turns, really makes the game too easy at the start.
