this mod is only partially compatible with Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments. The detail yield demonstration from Sukritact UI does not show here.

Is it possible to add districts from mods ? Is it easy at least, for a non-coder like I am ? ^^ Seems like the Downtown, from same name mod, isn’t showing in the list out of the box, sadly, that would be useful !

I understand why it is incompatible with CQUI, but any chances for it to be compatible with CQUI-Lite?

@d_iperione, sorry but I don't plan to do this. To get Sukitact' Simple UI Adjustments city panel features you need to disable Better City List. But you can still use these 2 mods together if you need city list.

@d_iperione, that's the way how these mods are compatible. Better City List overwrites city panel files so if you use both these mods you can't rename cities from city panel.

In Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments mod you can change the name of the city by clicking on the name itself. With both mods installed you can't do this.

@franc007she, good idea! Is it enough to simply point cities not on original capital's continent? Or cities on each continent should be pointed by different color icons? How do you see this?

I see, thanks for the explanation. I'm double checking the compatibility if my mod collection and unfortunately it sometimes impossible to make things compatible without copy pasting loads of code :(

Because CQUI has its own combined manage citizen / purchase tile interface which automatically opens from the city panel and this interface can't be opened from Better City List without some (complete) rework of the mod.

@Adriaman, I made it compatible using higher load order in modinfo. Better City List overwrites Suk UI / CUI city panel files when load the game.

@Darth_Jimbo, thanks for your report. It finally helped me to find the issue and to fix it. It seems that @sgtmoody1944 also used JNRs District Expansion: Aqueduct mod that was incompatible with this mod.

@bolbas @sgtmoody1944 I'm having the same problem here. I'm not sure, whether it's the same but I was able to narrow it down. To recreate my error, follow these steps:
1. Start a new game with your mod and JNRs District Expansion: Aquaeduct enabled

Start in renessaince era, so that everything we need is available from start.
2. Have at least two cities.
3. Build a cistern district (as JNR is renaming it) in at least one city.
4. Build either an orchard, a hammer works or a bathhouse in the cistern district.
5. Sort the city list in a manner, that "Cistern-City" is not first.
6. On the city list page where you can see the districts, you should see that all lines above "Cistern-City" are empty e.g. if it's in last line, no other cities are shown.
I hope you can fix it or tell JNR what he has to fix.

@sgtmoody1944, well, I couldn't find any errors in these lines of code and that's why I can't fix this. I've also checked JNR's District Expansion: Industry mod on my end and it seems like it is compatible with this mod. Your save file could help me to find the problem.

FWIW, I'm running with the UC Industry expansion and all the optional NFP game modes active (including monopolies and corporations), and I know the UC IZ expansion takes some extra steps when M&C is active, so I don't know if this is something I should also report to JNR. @bolbas, my lua.log suggests an attempt to index a nil value stack traceback, and then complains about the functions BQUI_FillCityListWithData, BQUI_RefreshCityListPopup, and BQUI_OnCityListPopupClick. I'm pretty sure it's a conflict with JNR's new UC Industry mod (released the past few days), since I checked the turn before I plopped down my first IZ, and this mod was still working fine, and then the turn after the IZ was completed, the symptoms as mentioned showed up. My fault for not checking mod compatibility earlier, thanks for your time regardless!

Small thing I noticed today, for whatever reason it seemed like the sub-screen listing the districts in cities (i.e. the first screen that opens up when you click on the city banner) had its formatting messed up. The two other screens are still fine though. I did receive a small update this morning to the game, but I admittedly also didn't check if that was functioning last night. Just putting it out there in case, thanks for your work on this mod!

@denyener, I've already saw this save file on Civfanatics Bug Reports thread. Better City List works fine with it. So if you don't want to upload your save file you can check if the last update fixed your issue yourself. I'm going to delete your last comment.

the 1st panel showing districts etc does not display properly in the mid/late game. anyone else experiencing this? otherwise i love this mod, thank you.

@Valentin, thanks for your report. Now it's updated to October 2020 game version - 1.0.6.9. But It was only 1 line changed here and it couldn't affect your choose production options. So check if it works on your side after the update.

Looks like is not compatible anymore with the latest update (October patch).
The whole option to build or to explore is missing altogether.

I use this mod together with better unit list, when this mod with better unit list disabled, I have the ability to build, explore, etc.

With this installed when left-clicking on the production icon of a city nothing happens, it doesn't display the production queue.

sry for the mix up its working i thank it was another mod conflicting with it, but its, ok i'm not using this mod, i like the buying tiles from the Manage Citizen screen, its better that way, no need to go into two different screens to buy a tile.
but not get me wrong you have a great mod if i would have seen this 1 first, ill probably be using this one instead.

@Dragonslayer, look, I've checked it once again. Better City List works fine with Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments and Concise UI enabled. I can right click city banners to get to Manage Citizen screen. But to buy tiles in this screen you need to additionally click the Purchase Tile button because Manage Citizen and Purchase Tile screens aren't merged in Better City List. So if you still can't enter Manage Citizen screen with right click you should ask for help in Concise UI comments. This mod doesn't change anything in city banners.

so this does change the city banner , i can't right click on city banner to get to the city manager.
and the tile button does not need to be there it can be added to the city manager button so when you use the manager button your using both buttons

when i have this in i click on a city banner and go to the city manager screen but cant buy the city tiles like i can with Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments. and i disabled the bad mudols in Concise UI to get it to work

@Dragonslayer, you are using Concise UI that is not updated to the last game version yet. So you need to find and disable some of your incompatible mods. Anyway Better City List doesn't change city banners.
