Entuland's Blue All Mobs Spawner - Main Stone - With Water

WarmWorms and DustEvils (and the frozen variant as well) work just like that, you have to go kill the WarmWorms yourself (a player may have succeeded creating an autokill spawner for them but I ignore the details, has been a long time ago and I never fully understood how it worked).

The DustEvils you can just lure into the teleporter.

Reinbeaus can be made to spawn with 32 Dead Grass (and no Sand in the same chunk), there are other spawners as well but that's the easiest to implement.

Reaudolphs have a very low chance of spawning and only near the Elfi trader.

Next patch will include a better reference to get to figure out the spawning rules.

This spawner is going to remain as it is for the time being (and probably forever) - players are welcome to create their own spawners and share them with the community (even if such spawners use this one as starting point, players are welcome to "fork" and share their own version)

Reinbeaus also don't seem to spawn.

The spawner also tends to get clogged up with dust devils and warmwurms, which don't move and require manual intervention, or teleporting away and back.

That's correct, when this spawner has been created the Swamp Trogs didn't exist yet.

Add 32 Weepwood (the plain one, not the mossy one) blocks to each of the Swamp platforms in order to allow the Swamp Trogs to spawn there.

Or, better, what matters is having at least 32 Weepwood and at least 32 "normal ground" blocks such as Grass or Dirt, so you could place the Weepwood on the Autumnwood platform as well, or create your own additional platform - just a 15x15 Grass with 32 Weepwood on top will do to spawn the Swamp Trogs.

Doesn't appear to have a space for swamp enemies to spawn (EG., swamp trog)

Yeah, thanks. I didn't even know corrupted water was used. The "killing chamber" was too high up and water blocks froze. I lowered it a bit and now it works.

The loot bags should drop from the teleporter down onto the slab, and you should be able to aim at them through the small gap between the fence and the slab to collect them.

This video shows a different spawner but the trap is pretty much exactly the same:

How do i retrieve the loot though... All the bags are "inside" the teleporter...

Putting the lava and corruption platforms any higher isn't going to help, you need to keep 15 blocks of distance between the two platforms not to have them conflict with eachother, and the corruption + lava ones need darkness to spawn, so I doubt I'll be altering this design at all.

its not the biggest issue. just a bit annoying. my pc is old. but if i need to i will contact yall. ill try the teleporter thing or i might, just to test, try moving that layer up. i put the mob collection part from Raven's Large Teleporter Mob Farm in place of the one you used. It has a ramp that safely delivers the bags to you. It works great for this farm. Just thought id give ya that idea for any future upgrades.

If you have lagging issues you could get in touch with support@playfulstudios.com and I could help you tweaking the settings to reduce the lagging. The simplest solution not to have to use the ladders to go down is to simply put a new pair of teleporters there - one at the top platform, one in a safe position downstairs. That way you can go back and forth easily to trigger the spawns.

sorry to keep bothering you but would moving the corrupt and lava layers up make them spawn while im on the collection platform? i dont like having to go down the ladders to get things to spawn on them. ladders are a bit of a pain when my game does its lag every so often.

No, that's not normal to have mobs get on top of the walkways in any way, the only spot where they're supposed to walk over them is at the edges after you build the extensions (and only to walk across to the next square) - definitely not in the middle near the trap.

ok thank you. where i had a roof over a savannah section a couple shrews did spawn but one spawned on my limestone wall. its a player made wall, not natural. can they jump up that high? its the height of ur build. i didnt think mobs could spawn on made blocks.

The Savannah sections have very low spawn rate, it's just the numbers they've picked for the BossHogs and the ShrewdShrews. Using any other crafted block instead of the blue walls will make no difference whatsoever (using natural blocks instead _can_ make a big difference, and that's not advised).

Careful if you placed any lights in the platform, lights will prevent mobs from spawning altogether.

Does the block you use to build the walk way up top matter? You used Blue wood wall, I had a ton of limestone wall from a build i tore down so I used it. I am getting 0 spawns in the savannah sections. I was wondering if that could be causing this. I placed it like you said otherwise. I am trying extending the roof bit to see if that might do anything.

Not getting Trogs is extremely strange, the Trog spawner is one of the ones I tested the most, and should work just fine.

If you keep having trroubles with them check the world "Entuland's Blue All Mobs Spawner" to make sure your installation is the same as mine and if you're confident everything is set up properly let me klnow, cause I'd definitely want to visit and verify it myself.

I have had this for about a week now and definately worth the mats used to build..only thing i see is i have not gotten trogs at all..beside that exellent layout thank you
