Thank you @Aggroviking. @shardinhand - He is correct. This mod should be able to tame any tamable animal. It is basically a re-skin of the vanilla structures. It does not add tamability to otherwise non-tamable creatures. :bunnyinablanket:

I can be wrong, but this mods taming pits are just visual different variants of the vanilla taming pits, so I doubt you could use them for those specific, regularly non-tameable creatures.
But there's a technical chance that it could still work - depending on your thrall/pet-mods and their respective mechanics they bring with.
So in this case you probably better ask in those thrall mod community of the mod you are using - as long as those specific creatures aren't tameable in vanilla pits either.

no rock noses are way smaller i meant the living mountain and its snow and volcano biome varients, living mountain is an enemy in conan exiles, i want to catch one and have it on my team, like some other creatures, im hoping for other large creatures to tame the lava worm and the Witch Queen Guardian, oh and the red mother, even as an admi i cant spawn these creatures an dbosses as allies. for example finding them in the npc spawn menue it just says find them in "other" menue, which they arint in, or at leats i havint found them. theres a pet extention mod but it doesint cover any undead or these bigger creatures

So far the cages start the production queue again and refresh the production cycle.
I just tested this with new crafted & placed cages, so I can't tell, if it also works with cages that have been untouched so far - but technically it should.
Even after a server-reboot the cages do their job continuously again, so this problem seems to be solved.

Ok, I still don't know why it broke, but I have a solution. It seems that the dev kit was not reconnecting the stations to the updated parent blueprints on recompile. In theory manually opening, faking an edit, and recompiling seems to solve the problem. (Tested with the round cage) So basically no changes, but I have to fiddle to force it to correctly compile. :meadowfrog:

Good news though, I may test this with the thralls mod (which I have been banging my head against off and on). If that works then it is just some hours of tedium to get them back in working order. :D: *fingers crossed*

Hey folks sorry for the delay. Work work work. Can you let me know what mods you are using? I am going to recompile and do some testing. There was the April 15th update. It is possible that my last recompile was done in that version of the dev kit and that is what may have caused issues. I think that is likely the case based on timing. - That said, I am going to upload a new version to test and see if I can replicate.

Confirmed report of the post below:

Produktion (such as rocknoses) stopped after update roll-out and doesn't start anymore.
No matter, if replacing or picking up the cages to place again, or crafting new ones.
And it even doesn't matter, if wooden or iron.

I am so out of the loop. I didn't even realize there was an update. Might be something that gets fixed by a simple re-compile. :lunar2019deadpanpig: I'll see if I can get it working in the next few weeks. (Assuming it just needs a recomplie) (I don't have the dev kit installed right now, so I would need to refind the files and reinstall the dev kit which takes a while in itself) - But I'm happy to load it all back to see if I can make it work. It was a labor of love. :meadowrabbit:

Sadly right now witht he new update today (Age of Heroes) not working on servers anymore.
BUT its awesome. Whenever i play CE whether it be solo or with friends this mod has become a staple in this game for me :D I like the aesthetic from these taming places way more than the big clunky vanilla ones. Even if the AaHtp taming places would only hold one pet-cub/baby at a time it would still be a staple/must have for me!

:) Apparently I missed that August comment, but no matter. Yes, for thralls I have a mod 'Thrall Breaking Places'. It adds cages as an alternative to the wheel of pain. :cat_cool:

Sup, installed the mod yesterday and tried using both the taming rug and the small cage to train a wolf pup, but it just doesn't do anything. The pup is there, the food is there, but there's no 3D mesh onto the rug or inside the cage, and it doesn't process. The Thrall cage works normally.

@Ozel, oh my! You're right. I had put horses in the taming stalls, noticed they didn't have hair, so I spawned in a new one and tried to set it on the ground and it did. I didn't even think to check the base game stable itself. But you're right. My apologies!

@heaven I did some testing. This is not an issue with this mod. This issue persists without any mods installed (tested in singleplayer). It can be a good idea to test an unmodded game when trying to figure out if an issue is mod related or an issue with a particular mod.- That said, funcom doesn't exactly give us game slots to test with, so go figure. :meadowwolf: That is to say, thanks for the heads up, but the issue is on Funcom's end. :meadowrabbit:

Horses no longer have manes/tails when in the taming spots. This is new with the latest Age of War patch as I have a video taken the night before the patch with manes/tails intact but screenshots after (of the same horse, same spot, same mods) are missing them.

@shaniamali Thanks! It's not a bug, it's a *feature*, :cat_cool: "For some taming places, you can adjust the position of the animal by moving them to another slot. For example, in the coral section, the first slot is looking strait at the fence and slot #2 is at an angle to the fence for a more natural look." The idea is you have options for where to place/position one animal, or you can make an animal blob. (This is why the stations are 1/5 the cost of the huge pen, they are intended for one. But what you do with the power is up to you. :meadowrabbit:

Amazing Mod, i utterly despise the huge taming pen from funcon lol, thank you very much for this alternative. (not sure if a bug or its just a problem in my game, its not a huge problem but when you put multiple animals in the rug it shows all of them at the same time)

pfft true, but seriously, lately their only goal seems to be milking cash out of it by adding more and more unbalanced game loop killing bullcrap, like seriously, all the sorcery stuff got us so far is a total ellimination of the entire early/mid game phase leading to character creation, 1-2 kills -> getting a supply crate -> endgame ready

Sidebar: The way they built the systems were not with the end/bigger picture in mind. If you played waaaayyyyy back you may recall we used not to have any thralls showing on wheels.. and then there was only the one dude with white hair for a few years. (He'd push the wheel regardless if anyone was on or not). Then we got animals. It's been a long strange trip.

@Muad'dib For animals, yes. This mod (and the base game) both show animals once they are fully tame. For animals if you leave them in the taming stations they can be fed to produce byproducts, mostly dung, but some other items with other animals (like ichor for spiders). So long as you have not placed the animal in world then you can place the animal item in an animal crafting station and it will appear in the station and stop its decay timer. This allows you to use animals and horses decoratively in a sense. :meadowrabbit:

For thralls the base game system shows them when they are taming, but they are not visible afterwords. (go figure) :meadowwolf:

@Muad'dib There is not a system in place in Conan (base game) to have baby animals appear when taming. :/ As such, this mod does not add it. So, they act like a reskin of the existing system.

No worries. I just wrapped up the changes to the mod but will wait to post it til Monday.

As for the jaguar blob. The intent is just to use one of the slots (since logically the rug should only have one animal on it at a time). There is no way for me to show/hide slots or change positions otherwise. So it is up to the player to decide if they want an eldritch animal monstrosity or a single animal. :meadowfox:

In short, to fix the blob, remove all but one animal. :meadowwolf:

Awesome thank you for getting back to me! I used to use the rugs and coral all the time and could only ever see one animal, is there a way to select which one is visible? I may have missed that... The blob of five jaguars looks a bit weird 😂

Update: Thank you for letting me know. Apparently I DID solve this issue some time back. Almost all of this mods stations will allow for horses or animals.... but I also never finished that change cleanly, hence the low stables acting as an animal pen. :meadowwolf:

Good news! I will work out a fix this weekend that should allow for all stations to be used for horses or animals. (barring issues with testing). I will wait til Monday/Tuesday to post the fix as to not disrupt prime time. :cat_cool:

Bonus good news! You can tame pretty much anything at a horse corral currently... which I apparently built in and then forgot about... heh... :stella_happy:

And wow you are right! The low stable has apparently been acting as a taming pen for animals, not for horses. Tested and it works with tigers but not horses. :tigerinablanket: Ha! Not so much broken as working as the wrong station.... probably since sometime last year. (shows you how much folks like the in game stables....) Anyway! I think this is an artifact of a time when I was trying to make them cross compatible. Good news you can have elephants and rhinos in it for now. :meadowfox:

In any case, I'll open the dev kit this weekend and poke a stick at it. :meadowswan:

The multi slot is how it is designed (see mod description). It allows you to change the orientation of the animal by having all the slots available. :cat_cool:

As for the low stable, I have not heard that issue. I will go test. I tend to use the corral, so I haven't checked the low stable since... ehhh... long time. :meadowgoat:

I think this does need an update, the taming rugs are showing all 5 animals kinda in a pile and you can't put horses in the low stable only the corals. The corals are showing all 5 horses too
