us problem solving in a nutshell:
the enemies is over there? remove the over there
the ennemies is communist? remove the communism
the oil is there? remove the "there" and end up with oil
the ennemies are in the trees? remove the trees

Sadly, not really. Look on workshop for MP97 maps, they are great. If you feel creative you can go to sandbox and create your own scenario on a map of your wish. There are neutral houses, trees, roads and other stuff to create your very own battle.

Having a lot of fun with this mod. The only thing that feels like it's really missing is some kind of repair/medical structure.

U.S. airfields cannot spawn choopers

BTR works without fuel depots

Changed PAVN machine gun defense, mig17 gun sprite

A1 Skyraider gun strike size reduced

Changed spawn area on airfields to make a take off simulation

Changed planes Winchester effect to create a more reliable abandon area effect

-Fixed PAVN fuel depot footprint
-Fixed Mi8 and Mi8 Gunship overproduccion by AI
-Changed bullet sprite
-Changed tanks and BM21 artillery turret speed and cannons recoiltime etc..
-Fixed OH6 and PAVN infantry turret position
-Added music

oh, and thing:
the US had close to no M1 Garands in service by the time of vietnam.
there were plenty of M14's though, so just amp up the fire rate a bit and change the name, the Garand and M14 look the same from that angle

a few suggestions:
'mericans get another air-feild upgrade for bombers, the big ones
artillery for both sides
2 new armies, china and south vietnam
South vietnam is basicly identical to USA, but use different tanks and can generate more moeny
China is basicly infantry-spam NV
Navy for the americans and chinese

Also I just got done playing a session, you might want to add a tier 2 anti tank defence

So I'm such a nag, I'm just really big on Vietnam, and I enjoy watching people bring it to life anyway they can, so again sorry if I bother to much

(also is you could ad half tracks that would be really cool as some parts of the vietnam war would use half tracks to transport units and large vehicles)

HEY! this mod is a great mod, it doesn't need a couple of updates like making the enemy the other army from the army you have chosen. I really enjoy this mod and plan to use is a whole lot more. Be sure to play this mod atleast once, as after that you'll see the possiblities of it. This mod brings in what most rts Games miss, as most RTS game just need you to build a huge horde of units to win this mod makes it so that the game acually requires strategy to play, and if you have other players besides your self you can cordinate attacks that can be carried out with ease.


Best played on larger maps for a better experince.

This is a Really good Mod mate.But can you make one with guys armed with muskets and around the time they had Muskets? If you did i bet it would be 10/10 P.S this Mod is 10/10

The mod is a 10/10 but i have a problem: my computer has really bad lag spikes with this mod enabled and i am unsure why. But besides that this mod is really good!

Keep up the good work and keep adding onto this mod.

vietnamese and american fortifications should definitely be expanded, the vietnam war was a war of forts and FOB's and not troops sitting in the forest. artillery should (obviously) be added.
american super bazooka's (change the name!!) could fire napalm rockets and were used in anti-infantry and area denial method's that way. and an american M113 gatling gun AA should be added (duh) and thanks for listening to my ted-talk

anti air should kill the aircraft sort-of like an anti-nuke killing a nuke
also airfield air-strikes should probably not be limited by fog of war

i dunno about aircraft i sort of like return to base but just insta-killing it looks weird. i think an airstrike system should be made instead with airstrikes callable from airfield, and from a radio-man should be available which can call airstrikes with flare's for a cheaper cost. maybe an airpower resource made by airfields which is spent in the airfield and radio-airstrikes. although with this the previous RTB system will have to be removed

New update (Minor fixes):
-PAVN Barracks and Factory T2 upgrades fixed.
-Increased M35 and M113 TransportSlotsNeeded from 8 to 20... Now can only be transported by chinook.
-USA T1 and T2 Factories exit point changed.
-Fixed infantry spawns bigger and then become little.
-US Power Generators constructionFootprint increased.
