@Blotto if you want me to include it into the base mod you can add me and send me a Google Drive or Dropbox link for the files, but please note that I'm a bit busy lately so its would have to wait until I have time to play the game and relook at the mod.

Alternatively, you can create a sub-mod and upload to steam, setting this mod as a Required mod. Most mods with multilanguage support are done this way. The advantage of this is you wouldn't have to wait for me or coordinate with me.

@Laderlappen please see "Known Issues". Armor was no longer used after the first tier/WW1 infantry tech. The way the game is setup I am not able to disable that option for modern infantry gear.

Curiass doesn't show any stats besides reducing reliability. Does the armor just not show in the window, or is it bugged?

but if I have a variety of infantry equipment with different stats, how do I make use of them if all equipment is distributed more or less evenly within divisions?

Does anyone have a fix to let this mod work with the newest update. Activating this mode will block trucks from the logistics. Thanks in advance.

@Decypher Thanks for letting me know. While I've been consistent with low-effort maintenance to keep it up to date, any major changes or DLC (and I understand the latest patch did an overhaul on a number of things) would require personal play time to test and understand the changes, which will unfortunately be slotted after the upcoming CK3 DLC. That said, I have been meaning to get back into HOI4 so it won't be pushed off indefinitely.

@GotWeenies unfortunately there's no way to instruct the game to load my mod last to overwrite the same files so that my mod modifies theirs. The only way to do that is to literally copy their entire total conversion mod and change a few files then distribute it, which would be very inappropriate.

It doesn't work like that. Trying to use two mods modifying the same thing is like trying to wear two different pair of shoes on the same foot; you can't. The best way to make it happen is to ask if Millennial Dawn modders would be willing to include these features.

Unfortunately, this mod won't be compatible with any mods that modifies equipment on their own. The way HOI4 is designed modifying units or tech often equals modifying equipment.

@GaziKurt if you're talking about the statistic bloc that thing has me stumped the last time I looked at it; it was caused by some patch changes to UI sometime last year. The mod itself doesn't do anything to font colors, and I made sure the localization files don't touch that, and I can't find anywhere in the .gui file that affects color. It could be inherit to the font settings but it would require more time than I currently have to figure out.

@VBCI92 thanks for reminding me about the new version. Unfortunately I currently have some other priorities due to life/financial changes the earliest possible for a proper update would be next month. If someone familiar with the game mechanics can confidently say that equipments weren't touched in this patch though I'm more than happy to just change the version compatibility number to activate the mod for this version. (I won't have time to bug test or verify it, though.)

@B4skerV1lle yeah unfortunately the way equipment work if the technologies involves equipment at all (and most likley they do) they will interfere with each other especially if they are expanding/modifying vanilla equipment which has to be written in the same file.

@Lstor Thanks for your feedback. It was credited in the last 3 versions and this is the first update which I removed the credit from the description because I feel its standing by its own right when the other mod has been outdated for many more versions. I'm not sure if you can see old descriptions in the change log from public view if not I'll see what I can do to start disassociating and move separate ways from it.

@Banshee's Shadow updated to work with v1.9.* Please let me know if you run into any issues. There's a known issue with the UI text color but it should otherwise work. I haven't spent time to learn what they did with the UI texts.

@Nobody100 I appreciate the additional details. Without going in deep to analyze his files but based on the mod's features most likely its because his mod modifies infantry equipment.

The way HOI4 is designed "infantry" isn't so much a unit as it is based on the equipment used and he dramatically changed and added new infantry units which would create the conflict with this mod. The author of that mod likely had to create some frankenstein solution to ensure the newly created infantry types don't accidentally use up each other's equipment and decided to scrap the vanilla equipment entirely to prevent weird behavior. (Vanilla infantry automatically loads up the default infantry weapons)

I am using english localization and I am playing as Japan, I tried with Germany in a fresh game, same result. I am only using NRM II wich only modifys ships ( but not convoys).
Even AA which is modified by NRM II. I tested Brasil and ever thing besides Infantry Equipment can be modified. Thats because I am confused because every other equipment even trucks works fine. I can Modify AA,AT, Rocket and normal Arty. Ican change all types of mechanized and motorized(trucks), support equipment even the convoys. I will make some tests to find out what mod conflicts with yours.

@Nobody100 I just tested in v1.8.2 and everything seems to work for me. Just to double check if they changed internal names for equipment at different levels I made sure I was able to modify and produce Basic Eq, Infantry I, Infantry II, and Infantry III.

Can you try to be more specific? If everything is as it sounds at face value my last suspicion would be are you 1) Using a localization other than English? I've only done limited testing on French and haven't done any other language. 2) Do you have other mods enabled that may modify equipment?
