Report a translation problem
Not that I've made; I don't speak the language.
You might be able to search around for it, but I personally haven't made a separate mod for it.
Honestly, I might start leaving links to specific translations of my mods in the description for people to find easier.
I'm not sure what you mean by "confusion" as a start, given that's not something I made in this mod, but if "confusion" is another mod, you can edit that one in the FCS to change the specific character they used in the start and give it a dialogue pack you want from the many options in the menus.
If memory serves, should you want to change any mods you've downloaded, you'll have to copy the workshop folder you downloaded and then move that to some specific folder, I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think it's steamapps\common\kenshi\mods.
Then you rename the folder to the same numbers as the mod (I think my mod is either 1889863101 or 1738460300, but I can't speak for the "confusion" mod thing), from there you should have two versions of the mod—1 from the workshop and 1 local—and can now just open up the FCS and edit what you want on the local file.
Turn on the local mod, but turn off the workshop in your load order.
Because I can't find the stuff to change that.
Are there any other starts that have this issue?
Does it happen if you have no other mods active or is it consistent crashing with and without?
@Snake Eater
Actualmente no.
Alguien más tendría que hacerlo.
iirc, if you have a mod that allows Landbats to have animal bags, there's a good chance that will work.
Yep.
Took me some time to learn it myself.
Good to know you got it working.
@Dosboy
I haven't looked at my mod organization in quite some time, so I would've needed to take a bit of a look to find what exactly I'd need to know and explain, but good to know you also figured out a workaround.
I am lucky that Cattrina made the start for me and I have begun my playthrough!
Thank you!
Not in this mod, no, but I can explain how to get that easily.
Since I detailed editing mod files already right below, I'll just go from there.
Do the same things to get to the point where you can edit the .mod, except open the "Game Start" you want to edit and look for the "money" option under "General".
Take whatever amount it says in there and replace it with "100,000".
Go to the right of that and change the "town" section to only add "Squin".
Save file, unsub from the mod on the Workshop.
Continuing from the last post:
As for the Game Starts, you'd just select "Game Starts" and work from that point.
I'm not certain, but my guess on how you'd change the "Mute" start would go by selecting whatever start it's called, opening the squad, and then what the selected "dialogue package player" is.
If it's something that looks modded, open it and take a look.
If it's just forcing your character to be mute, deselect it and add a dialogue with something like "player character default".
After that, just hit the save button at the top left and unsubscribe from the mod so it isn't overwritten by the Workshop mod instead of your new Local mod.
I'm not sure what you mean by the "Mute" start as I don't *think* I've done that here, though I can explain how to edit mod files or look for more information on them.
I'm exhausted currently, but I'll try to explain best I can:
If you were going to try and edit the mod with it though is to go to your "steamapps\workshop\content\233860" folder and find the mod ID you're looking for—which can be found easily by just looking at the link to the mod at the top of your screen i.e. this mod is "1712981485"—and copy the entire folder.
Place the folder inside of "steamapps\common\Kenshi\mods" and then rename the folder to whatever the .mod file says—this mod folder would need to be renamed to "Game_Starts_+".
Go and open the FCS as usual and have the bottom area have the mod your trying to edit active, but none of the others in the below area.
Edit whatever you need to from there.
I lost my old save and don't really wanna start from 0.
I'd say there's a 99.99% chance it works just fine.
I can't think of any exact reason why it wouldn't with some starts unless entire cities were just removed entirely with 'Living World'.
If there's an issue, load order may be the problem and would need to be adjusted before truly being a complication.
If it miraculously doesn't work, let me know so I can add the mod as a confliction.
iirc, Animals/pets in your squad eat in the following ways:
- Taking food directly from the character's backpacks that are within the same squad
- Eating from feeders in your own town
- Dropping food on the ground near them
Without a mod, I don't think so.
With a mod that adds backpacks to animals, it *should* work.
Thanks.
Problem should be fixed now.
If not, let me know.
Can't say I've had that happen before using it.
Could I get a screenshot of the location in question?
