again there seems to be a bug in the LOD. ill look into it asap.

Separated the submeshes to give more control over the contents of your train.
And now compatible with the cargo-dependent options in RTT.

oh well... i try to optimize as much as i can.
prop textures and main textures will always be the same.
submeshes will also always be clones unless its the template asset.

Just curious. High-detail assets are awesome, but if they're not optimized then they're a heavy RAM load even with Loading Screen Mod, so it's good to know how much space these'll take up now that I've subscribed to them. I always try to double-check if it's not in the description. :)

idk dude. i shouldnt have made any promises. was already looking bleak at the beginning of the holidays to be honest.
im also really lacking motivation right now.

one things for sure tho: i wont sotp making stuff for cities. probably ever. i just have phases where i have literally no motivation to get back into it. like right now.

ive been doing stuff since 2015 now so chances are low im gonna disappear forever.
and like i said its just a phase...

wow! i wish we had better train sound effects...
i tried finding some but everything locked behind paywalls or recorded from a stationary point while the train is passing :steamfacepalm:

anyway nice recording!

christmas vacation starts on the 20th for me.
ill probably start making stuff again around that time :steamhappy:

Thanks for your reply, of course I understand. Actually I haven´t thought that it would be such an amount of work, my mistake.
Good luck for the work you have to do for uni etc.
A coil-variation exception would be definitely appreciated, maybe during the upcoming seasons holidays as a christmas present?;)

the lack of control over the cargo bugs me aswell but its alot easier for me to put all those variations on one trailer.
imagine the exponential increase in ram usage if i released every variation as its own asset.
the amount of hours it would take me just to IMPORT all those variations is just not worth the time for me.

i could do it for single variations that stand out from the others such as the ealos-variant of my eanos trailers (to make forestry trains with roos and eanos trailers).
but im certainly not gonna release all variations. its just too much work.
especially right now since i have to do lots of stuff for uni, work and other hobbies.

which is why i havent released anything in weeks.

but i agree that the coil-variation stands out and also is MY personal favourite :steamhappy:
i might make an exception for this one. but yea... not for all of them.

I would like to make a request related to the fact that this is a TrailerVariation Loader version.

After a while I have noticed that on the train I have made with all trailers, for whatever reason I almost never get the trailer with the coils (which is the one I like the most in this pack) and also not very often the trailer with the steel plates (my second favorite).

Because of that I would like to ask you if you could also release a non TrailerVariation Loader version. This way everyone has the choice to also create trains with the exact trailer combination he prefers as an addition to the created TrailerVariation Loader train.

A workaround for vehicles with 6 axles is to actually connect the wheels with an axle such that the axle and both wheels are a connected mesh (don't just shove a tube in there, the vertexes have to be attached). Playing around with smoothing so that the entire wheel is smoothed instead of having hard edges could work as well. You might even need to combine the axle trick with the smoothing to get it to work, I don't remember exactly, it's been a while since I've last done this.

still dont know how i could add the 5th and 6th axis.
the game only supports 4 axis / 8 wheels so i might update this pack once i found way to work around this issue. (i tried to include them right away but i gave up after a few hours of trial and error :steamsad:)
