I don't know. Havn't sten it before.
For a note: this mod _tested_ for Vanilla only. So, if both mods are the same but that tested for DLC, then use that.

i can confirm that the mod loads perfectly with an updated mod_info.yaml

Hello, Diego Dela Vega. I have vanilla only, so can't say will it work properly in DLC and mark it as Vanilla only.
But you can, for you risk, copy folder "1900617368" from %userprofile%\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\Steam\ to %userprofile%\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\dev, change supportedContent and minimumSupportedBuild for DLC.

Hey Kto Blin, is there any particular reason you only include base game in the mod info? The storages work exactly as they should in the dlc but each time the steam files are updated the mod_info reverts to vanilla only.

Could you add the option in mod settings for the smart storage bin to not require power at all? And for the fridge to be able to send and change the signal even when not powered?

I've check it and no, it doesnt work. Dont even allow me to enter the start menu. I have a very few mods, so i dont think this is some kind of conflict between them and this mod.

I havn't DLC but I tried update mod as it shown on forum: just add file "mod_info.yaml" what contains supportedContent and lastWorkingBuild.
If it work in DLC then please feedback.

Yes, pls, update. the mod is great. the only thing that make Smart Storage Bin actually smart! :)

Great mod just one problem, the lack of toggle manual use. Loads of my dupes refill it and then get clogged up as they are going into a sealed room with only 1 transit access.

you might have copied the smart battery to much. when the modified smart storage run out of power it sends a green signal. while it makes sense for a battery to do that it doesn't make has much sense for a regular storage unit. while i could understand the signal not updating while not powered, having it go back to green every time to power stop ruins it's use for some system. the lack of option to toggle manual use desn't help it's case either. also if both thresholds are set at the same thing the signal seems to not know what signal to send and try to send both. the modified refrigirator may have the same issue.

IMHO it would be nice to have the regular energy use as an option in a config file. As it is the mod kind of does two things at the same time.
And since it doesn't replace the regular buildings, but adds the modified ones there is an incentive to build always build the smart fridge even if you don't use the logic functions

Sorry. I meant "should NOT cost less". In energy, not materials. I guess it could be argued that the regular fridge would be better balanced if it consumed less too, but it doesn't look that great when they're inconsistent

The whole point of this type of fridge is that you can have a hysteresis with cooking. Stop cooking when you have a certain amount and start again when you're low

The reduced energy consumption doesn't really fit IMO, since better buildings should cost less. Otherwise this is something that should be in vanilla

Are you using _Modified_ Smart Storage and _Modified_ Refrigerator? May be select simple Refrigerator? Scrol down and check in build menu, please.

It has no effect on the game. No high/low thresholds and fridge still consumes 120W. I have tried a new install in sandbox with only this mod enabled and no help.

Hey, thank you so much for this, it fixes a major annoyance with the default smart storage building and refrigerator.

Please consider also adding a slider for the 'refill threshold' similar to the mod linked below.

This will prevent an issue where small amounts of material are constantly taken from the storage bin, and dupes constantly refill these small amounts, instead of refilling in larger batches.

Maybe the following code will be useful if you choose to do this?

Hi, your refrigerator is not cooling in my base. It produces rotten piles all the time. You can see the freshness-rate droping really fast. The tolltip says that its at 4 degrees celsius, but the food still got rotten very fast.
