@T_Rex_Patriarch I checked the leaders that are in common by our mods. There are none. But if I implement a leader that this mod bring a portrait for, I will surely ask to use it.

New update. Two new replacement events for french leaders (Camille Chautemps and the second Blum's governement) in 1937 and 1938. It's an attempt to reflect the complexity of the french politics in these times.

I've figured out the issue. It was due to me using a Chinese localization mod. I tried for almost an entire afternoon before reaching out to you. Thank you for your help.

I tried, but it still doesn't work. However, if starting in 1939, the leader of France is "Edouard Daladier," while from 1936 until 1939, the leader of France has consistently been "Léon Blum."

The current project for danish and swedish leader changes is interrupted because of the next DLC that concerns these countries. I'll have to rework recent changes for Finland and Norway. So, waiting it, I might work on other countries. I'll dive into the current wishlist.

Oh, that's why I never saw it. The Germans are occupying Norway at that time usually.

I see, so it must have been another portrait mod I'm using (I'm using three, atm) that caused this. Since it is now a problem with one of the two other mods.

@donald.grape They never had unique portraits, neither in vanilla nor in my mod.

But they had unique portraits before (all South American leaders, Mongolia and Iraq), so what happened?

@donald.grape These leaders have generic portraits into the game files (some of them from France and Finland have unique portraits). I can't create unique portraits. However, they have their photos into the other version of the mod.

Why did all the replacement leaders have generic portraits? They used to have their own portrait. What happened?

New update. Leaders of the 1939 start that are coming through events have now more resembling portraits.

All leaders came to power through replacement events will now remains when your load a game, and won't be replaced by random ones.

More. The leader of Cambodia should be Heng Samrin as he was the general secretary of the party. Pol Pot was the prime minister.

One more. Constantin Parhon was the leader of the Presidium of Romania, not the general secretary, that would be Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej. It would be consistent with other communist leaders who were general secretaries of communist parties.

I will develop a series of many updates, and each update will SIMULTANEOUSLY affect "Historical Portraits", its new renamed submod (resulting from the fusioj of the two submods), the equivalent mod with vanilla portraits and "Historical Speeches & Songs Decisions". These updates will be "Country packs", which will add content for one country at a time. There will therefore be portraits of advisors, new leaders leaving or arriving through events, with their photos or vanilla portraits, and new speech or song decisions. The idea is that each country pack brings some content and flavour to a country to make you want to play it! Stay tuned.
