It works pretty well but it doesn't seem to save the height something was at when it was saved. If i place something on a roof when i load the save that thing will be at the ground

oh I might have been using ingame saves, but using the menu doesnt seem to work either as it just fails to save

I am really struggling to make the player keep their game master access after loading a save. I host the game on a LAN server and I have the owner of the zeus module set to #adminlogged which works until I load a save.

Just curious, i know you have mentioned that the mod will probably not work with heavy scripted missions. But i tried it anyway aha. On Antistasi Community Edition Local server and i can get everything to load. All except the scroll wheel functions, once i load the game the scroll wheel functions that allow access too the Garage and such.. Any ideas how to sort this?

I'm having issues Wert - when I save the progress bar moves, but no saves show up in the window. Effectively, there's nothing to load.

oo might be my mission aha its a cti style on altist that has you capturing zone like liberation and stuff.. mi8ght be way to big for this.. ill try again soon just to see. thanks for answering :)

The more complex the mission to load, the longer it will take, and it could increase to extremely long load times. If you are not already, try saving/loading using the Simple and Fast Save/Load options.

hello :) i keep getting stuck in the truck with loading times that seems a bit off .. it barley moves if not at all... is there an average load time?

It tries to save missionNamespace data and restore it. I am not sure how successful you will find it though

Are you logged in as opposed to voted in as admin? This code would need to be run in the debug console if this is enabled by the mission.

Hi Ian, Wert, I tried this mod on different mission on the server but I could never see the command.
I am using the middle mouse button to make the "reload" appear but I dont see the "multiplayer save/load" command.
Also, can you tell me where should I run the script that you provided if the "code is removed by your gamemode"?

I guess this does not work on warlords because when i try to load it also has the same issue with the trucks floating in air.

You are right. It is unlikely to work with missions with other scripts which is disappointing. I cannot see how to make a better general purpose solution. Devs would have to build this into their projects.

Was looking for a way to save my progress in CTI and I found this mod. All I can say is "I was disapointed" cuz the mod stops loading the save after a minute of loading and nothing else happens. And IF it finishes loading a save, the objectives are completely gone and the AI from both teams are stuck in a floating truck in the corner of the map. sorry if you don't like the comment but that's what my experience with this mod was

Have you tried the "Fast Save/Load" feature? It should save/load way faster by directing all resources to the save/load.

No, it seems to simply not load the file. We tested it by moving some vics around, saving, restarting the server, loading the mission again back to the start, then loading the save file.When it fully loads, the mission is back at the start, not where we saved.

I could take a look at all the files in the db folder to see if an anomaly has occurred. Does it load the mission from an earlier point?

Hey, really interested in the mod but we are having an issue loading the save. We are using a dedi server. The mission save fine, the file is in the mod folder and it is detected by the ui in game, however when we load the file the progress is not saved. We cant work out why it isnt working, any ideas?

Hi Burbonizer. You can run this on the server as a server mod. Only the person(s) who want to save/load will need to run the mod, and be an admin on the server.

Hi, Just trying this mod out because I am running ALiVE missions on a hosted (rented) server and therefore cannot run WarRoom. So no save capability. If i wish to run this mod do i need to put the mod in the mod list or server mod list? Also does every player need this mod loaded or is it only the player who wishes to use the mod to save? When they wish to save do they need to be logged in as admin or can anyone do it?

I did a quick test with this because I am very interested in using this to replace ALiVE. Two bugs to report: Blown up vehicles respawn as 100% OK when the mission is reloaded and the ammoboxes disappeared when the mission was reloaded.

THX! at least there is hope! in my test the slowest part was saving the unit, the markers etc did not seem to take as long. I am not sure if sharing the machine really limits the speed as the game continue to play just fine, drop in FPS due to saving process is neligible, both server and client side. but i am just saying without knowing how things really works;)

I can see where I could make some efficiencies, but this would take a few days to explore fully. There is a lot in this file, but I would have expected it to handle better. (150 modules and 400 markers as well!) I think it would be faster if the host/server/client was not sharing a machine together. I am not sure how I could save the group in any circumstance without the details of the units.
