At what turn do you experience crashes? is it immediately upon Risen Undead faction appearance?

I'v replaced the Risen Undead faction strigoi general with a master necromancer and a new campaign with the Risen Undead faction present ran 11 turns without any crashes.

perhaps that's what caused it?

It might still function but you are better off not trying it. I havent got the time anymore to update my mods unfortunately, but they are up for grabs if anyone wants to continue them or make their own versions, anyone is allowed to do anything with any part of any mod I made.

You can avoid the crash by changing the camera setting to not show risen undeads turn. But even so don't start a new campaign with the mod enabled until its updated.

@Formous weird for you to say that, the whole point of playing with the WoC is to spread chaos and destroy everything? If the corruption is helping, then why not. But anyway, I will try this out to see if the vampires could have a better shot against the empire, see if this can synergize well with my corruption mod

Had the same problem on turn 83 (playing as Manfred), on Risen Undead turn the game crashed
Disabled the mod for that turn and now turned it back on, will see how things evolve from here

I feel like the number of armies spawned gets out of control and fast. Puppets of chaos had at least 4 armies on every continent alone, only accelerating the number of puppet armies. Nevermind the skaven and Vampires. As a suggestion, cap the number of spawned armies to 5, and limit their spawns to a region that is--

1. Hostile to the Corruption Owner
2. A LLord of the Corruption Owner should be present in.

I like the mod, but playing Warriors of Chaos, this got out of hand and Fast.

I'm not 100% sure which it is, but at the end of my turn, there is a faction called "Risen Undead" that crashes my game. They weren't there at the beginning of the game so I'm assuming their rebels spawned by this. (I love spreading my vampire corruption to neighboring provinces)

I don't know if it is an interaction with other mods, but this mod was crashing my game on end turn when I assume an army spawned or was destroyed.

Thanks hopefully this will help the Vampire factions from being easily wiped by the empire and dwarf factions early on :)

Works awesome, your mods are fire! Im getting fat diplo bonuses for "Fighting vs Wildherds," essentially a shared war with everyone else, would be nice to disable if possible. And the Forest Goblins being obliterated every single turn is a little funny, but thats just nitpick. Love the mod love your work!

Mod now spawns beastmen armies on chaos corruption if chaos is dead and chaos armies if chaos is alive.

Yeah, they become similar to rebels but not entirely, they are a faction of their own but that cant hold settlements, but only declare war on the factions they spawn for, as opposed to rebels who are at war with everyone, which means since they dont spawn for the factions that own the corruption, you as a skaven for example can ignore them since they wont declare war on you, but because AI is AI they might raid your lands.

Yeah, theres a few minor details I would love to iron out, especially the raiding of neutral areas. The reason they arent rebels is so that skaven factions can spread their corruption and use them against the other people rather than being in turn attacked by them. But yeah the factions travelling to kill them is a bigger issue and would love to solve it.

Any chance of adding beastmen to spawn in chaos corrupted regions, if no chaos faction exists? Makes sense lorewise as chaos taints the nature around.

There is a rather annoying side-effect of this mode. The armies spawned by this mod are not treated as rebels, but "real" global horde factions (there is even diplomacy). Some AI factions, especially the ones which are not at war with their neighbours, travel insane distance in search of "Puppets of Chaos", "Risen Undead" or "Vermintide" in order to fight them. I've also seen Risen Undead armies raiding provinces of the factions which Risen Undead was not at war with it. The campaign quickly becomes very chaotic, but not in a good way IMO.

During my Norsca campaign, I noticed that there are no Chaos rebels. Considering how Norsca works (no WoC until late-game), this is kind sad, because it doesn't allow you to play around with the corruption mechanics that much.

Works perfectly! Thank you. I did still see one declaration, but it was started by a non-risen faction, Marienburg declaring on the Risen Undead. I haven't see any war messages declared BY the risen factions yet.

You are correct, they were still showing, forgot to set one thing on the script, should be fixed now. Also changed the priorities and my faction renaming should now show up higher priority than the renaming overhaul to fix that incompatibility, let me know if either things still dont work alright.

Not sure if another mod is interfering, but I feel like the Vampire risen faction should be called something like "Creatures of the Night" instead of "Chaos". Fits better.
