Does this still work? I'm not getting any of these UUs show up in the civilopedia for these CSs - does it work despite that?

Could you make it so that having certain mod civs make relevant city states use that mod civ's unique stuff? For example, having JFD's Italy makes Venice train Condottierre and build Duomos.

Could you please update with Antioch, Babylon, Lisbon and Palenque being removed as city-states into cities of playable Civs. Venice will have the Legion, Anshan will have the Immortal, Mogadishu will have nothing and Mitla will remain the same.

Interesting. This is a simple SQL mod that assigns the existing unique unit traits to the city states. It doesn't actually add new graphics. Textures were never an issue before, could be a recent update broke something.

No this mod is very simple, it's not set up like that. That's a good idea, and it's probably possible. Might look into it in the future when I have time

If you have the DLC or Expansion they'll get the unit. It's compatible with everything but doesn't require anything.The only exception are the city states that have "OR" in the description

Does Auckland get both Digger and Toa with Australia and Gathering Storm enabled, or only Toa/Pao with GS? Same question goes for city states with multiple dlc units

Hotfix Update:
-Steel and Thunder Unique Units compatibility fix
-This fix only checks if the Sea Dog trait exists (it is removed in Steel and Thunder), it does not add any new unique units to City States

Hotfix:
-Added Llanero to Mexico City if Gran Colombia DLC is activated (will replace Eagle Warrior)
-Changed SQL code to "INSERT OR REPLACE" for more compatibility (in case another mod makes the same changes)
-Added a check to make sure Aztec DLC is activated when using the Eagle Warrior


I did a few test games using various combinations of DLC and Expansions and all seems to be working on my end, I even checked the database directly to be sure everything was loading. On the off chance there is interference with another mod, I have changed the SQL code to be more compatible.

If this doesn't load for anyone, it's highly likely there is some conflict with another mod. Please check your database log for any errors and try loading a small worldbuilder map with only this mod enabled first.

@Lady Emma La Bunn, do you mind checking your database log when you try to load a game with the mod? I likely didn't write one of the DLC condition checks properly. I'll have a look myself as well. Any DLC or XPs you don't own? Could narrow it down for me, thanks

The update seems to be borked. Trying to start a game with it active is currently booting me back to the mods menu.

My only grudge is with Mexico City -- unlike Hunza and Milta it represents more post Colombian and post Colonial culture (Mexico) rather than Aztecs (on par with Buenos Aires). In liu of many post Colonial civs (we only have Brazil and Gran Colombia) -- I think having Llanero as a equivalent of Mexican Cowboys known as Rurales (Cavalry) would be a better solution and will close a small gap in under-representation of post Colonial civs in Americas.

The only downside to this wonderful mod is that I often play with CIVITAS city states. But I suppose those are novel enough that they don't need unique units to stand out. If you ever do add city-state mod support, it'd be icing.

It occurred to me that units or improvements unlocked by Civics may not be accessible by city-states. Not sure if they can unlock civics. Will require more testing unless someone can confirm.

Could you instead just add like 6 uniqe units to a certin type of city state that way they are much stronger though out the game and it would make them easyer to support for adding extra city states.

I would like to add city state mod support next.

As for the units, it's possible to enable them to be built by the player if they are the city state suzerain, but that's a lot more coding and testing involving modifiers. For now you can levy them at least!
