Hi, i have some questions...

@ Me, I'm Counting - Ah, I see. Thank you.

@Itudios - This tool reads the GM Notes field, not the regular notes field.

The tool doesn't seem to work for me. It hasn't recognized notes on any of the objects I spawn in except for the original three sample squares that come with it.

That worked perfectly. :) Thanks!

@GameKnight try just removing the 'onClick' parameter for the x and G buttons, but leave the buttons themselves.

This is an excellent tool! Thanks for post it.
Can you tell me if there is a way to turn off the buttons "x" and "G" without breaking the mod? Those are two things I don't want to click accidentally. I don't need a button to delete the note, and don't want to do it by accident. And I have another mod that runs in the Global XML that this will stomp on if the G button is pressed by accident. When I just delete the buttons in the XML the card breaks. :( Any help would be appreciated!

First of all, thank you! This tool is quite simple to use and is a significant help. I was hoping to find a way to create an additional field in the context menus that would function exactly the same way the "Name" field does except have the contents be visible to only the GM. This tool does everything I was looking for except the contents of the "GM" field are not displayed to the GM when they hover their mouse over an object. If the contents of the additional field were to be displayed upon hovering over each object, much like the contents of the "Name" field are but for the GM only, it would help me keep the game running smoother. This tool seems perfect for storing more extensive notes than I had originally intended to keep though. If you know of a tool that will do what I was looking for or even just a way to hide the "Name" field and/or subsequent tool tip from everyone but the GM, please let me know. Thanks again for the very useful tool.

Love the tool. However, I have a request: can the XML interface be hidden so only Black can see it? I avoid using the Global UI because of this problem and it can even be seen through the hidden area.

This might be a fringe use case but I would like to have a button to copy the GM note to either the name or description field. This could be useful if you give an unidentified magic object to your group and they later identify it or if they meet an unknown NPC and are introduced later. Basically anytime you have info you are initially hiding from players but eventually they will know.

First off, this is an awesomely useful tool.
Secondly, is there any way you could add a "lock" button to this?
The only problem I ever run into happens like this:
-I'm at my DM section and I go to save (or open and search for something) and your tool is in the background.
-While I'm clicking through the menus, I unknowingly click through Tabletop sim's UI and activate "Object Notes" in the background.
-I start typing and delete what I had written in "Object Notes" (usually without realizing it at first)
-I curse (sometimes loudly, depending)

I love your mod but that small detail is killing me.
Basically, I have object notes as the centerpiece in my DM area, and so you could imagine it's happened quite a bit.

Barring that, any chance you could point me in the right direction to learn how to do that?
I've looked without much success for a tutorial.

Anyway, Thanks.
Again, great tool

Very useful, especially with that ping function. Thanks for making this!
