I’m very sad that railtrons from Rimatomix cannot be used in ship combat because when fired, the projectile flies to a random point on the planet, and not to the ship itself, and as other users have noted, ship capacitors cannot replace PPC, I would also like that if the turbines could use the thermal system of the ship, so as not to suffer with dry cooling towers in a vacuum, and accordingly, I would like to see this mod on newer versions where these problems are still relevant (for example 1.5) (I’m Russian, that’s why I’m writing this through Google translator )

The reason why people are saying that this mod isn't needed is that railguns can hit anywhere on the map by default with RA now. However, PPC's are still required, ship capacitors won't cut it.

Also curious why it's not needed. RA doesn't use non-PPC capacitors by default, nor SoS2 ones.

Just throwing this on the pile. This mod is now built-in to RimAtomics. You do not need this mod, if you have this installed simply unsub and go thank Dubwise for the update.

Alright i did mod order and all that fun stuff. This one is the offender with the new rimatomics update. It broke everything. From the UI, the alien races, and the basic actions of pawns.
Dont get dis mod until it get fixed

@Padawhat : I have had the same issue you described. Was working about 4 hours ago I assume just before the update dropped and this patch now seems to completely break any saves.

I would recommend not using this before its updated for the new Rimatomics update. From testing I can determine that this breaks countless things not associated with this mod and Rimatomics. A few examples I can present is breaking More Planning, breaking mods that are to do with world generation (most instances a CTD) and a very unexpected one being Pawn generation.

I think rimatomics updated and it broke some stuff here, the error logs keep mentioning about ship capacitors.

just a suggestion to add to this, if you made radiators hook up to rimatomics coolant pipes and give a small amount of coolant then we could properly run reactors on a ship. as it is now you have to keep the reactor at a very low power with no way to cool it.

BTW, game crashes on world gen ("Rimworld.exe has stopped working" pops up)
When I tried adding it to existing game my pawns were gone.
So it's safe to conclude that it's broken a bit.

Granted, I haven't tried starting game with only SOS2, Rimatomics and this one loaded, so maybe it's something to do with my pile of mods.

I noticed any prototype weapons (for example, the rail-gun) should be testing in planet, not in orbit station. Otherwise it will not gain any progress.

Is it possible to make nukes have range on the whole planet like rail guns do? Apart from that everything is great, thank you.
