This was the best custom scenario ever! Kudos Mauseri for giving us this magnificent map! Took me hundreds of hours to play. Sad to see this scenario broken now. All the best for Mauseri!

Broken as of this date. BadVehicle: AIsquad and starting you just stare at a raining background with trees instead of waking up in the cage.

Same for me, cannot use CIA hideout keyboard, no suicide note, seems to be linked to any script that requires you to look at an object and choose a menu action. Just ruined the game for me, and it doesn't look like the author is supporting his work anymore.:steamthumbsdown:

Wow just saw your mod and I absolutely love the concept of actually having some kind of character progression which is a very great bonus for completing missions. Very creative!

@Heffers: Those crashes happen sometimes in Arma 3 with any mission but there is a trick to have saves again: after the crash go to arma 3 savegame folder in "documents/arma3/saved/steam/mission folder you are playing", select a savegame and rename it in "continue.arma3Save" and you'll can continue your game!

1 of the best Ravage missions I've played. Some 20+hrs in and Arma crashed. Now I have no RESUME option. Absolutely gutted. I can't start again, I had found a way out, had 17 bases captured, multiple camps taken & cleared 60+% of all towns. But Arma killed me. Grrrrrrrr

Was there an answer to JBS1949s question please Mauseri: I finally get to Sowa Hill, and there's no note.The nephews won't talk to me until I find the note. Is there any way to FORCE the note to appear - Thank you in advance :steamthumbsup:

Lots of Broken stuff on this scenario. You get to Doctor X's lair OUTSIDE OF Dolnik and it says the base now has a blue flag. It has NO flag. It's broke just like the generator in The Sheriff , It says the engine is repaired & it eats your toolbox, but there's no power so you cannot complete the task & get the reward. Also, you cannot save in Doctor X's lair because there's no blue flag.

This could be a great scenario if you'd just fix the broken stuff. So far, two of the four possible solutions are broken.

Played through and found a different exit since I couldn't get the note at Sowa Hill and so couldn't start that quest. Playing again to find the other exits, but I have a NEW problem.

When I get to the traders, I can't get the Sell Stuff/Buy Stuff menus. I've picked up the Trader's Lists & they show up under Intel.

I have sufficient bank notes to buy and I have items on the list to sell. But I cannot get the Buy/Sell menu options.

I've double checked and I have all the required mods loaded plus the recommended ones. I did not have this problem on the first time through.

The only difference is I had a Mag Repack Mod the first time through that kept crashing my video driver. I did not load that mod this time.

Do new zombies spawn if you kill all the zombies in an area? Or do they just drift in from other areas?

I.E. Are there a fixed number of zombies or are new ones created while you're playing?

I've been playing this for over 20 hours now - takes a lot of attempts to get to the next bandit base where I can save once I turn the flag blue, so 3+ hours of play time and I've only advanced one base ... and sometimes I have to leave the game with no progress.

I finally get to Sowa Hill, and there's no note (I kinda cheated by watching Kodabar's walkthrough).

The nephews won't talk to me until I find the note. Is there any way to FORCE the note to appear.

HI I AM CERTAINLY NOT CUSTOMIZED? BUT I STUCK. I AM ARRIVING AT THE SCIENTIST (dolnik). I repair his truck and put gas in it, I go back to see the scientist and tell me look man and wheel menu, and he gives me no choice.
if you could give me 2mm of your time to light my lantern I would be grateful.

Very good mission so far, am in about 3 hours and having a blast. Have to say I enjoyed all of your missions but this one is the best! Keep up the great work and stay safe.

It was a really good mission. You can really deliver it!
It was also nice that it was not as heavy as many scenarios are. Loot was ok and zombies also.

Ok. Mod is good and entertaining.
But two things that kinda disturb the joy.
1. Lack of saving. I like the idea but as a family man... Well just waisted 2 hours of game time as I had to quit :D
2. Time acceleration should be in it. Again just for making it more enjoyable . Waiting for light is quite tiresome as you just "dont feel sleepy" . :D

Well, walked two real hrs all the way to Soma Hill (no idea if there is anything there but the note on the table made it the only logical move) . So setting out with my 7 mags for what has to be the worst gun I could possibly of found (Mosin), avoiding anything that looked the least bit like a building on the map cause God knows there's a minimum of 5 runners at any given building no matter how remote that you can't outrun and zig-zag all over the place and seemingly try and circle around you like they have some type of divine intellect. Finally, only to be met 400m from my destination with 3 raiders 2 of which I killed and was downed by the 3rd. Laying unconscious, but for some reason I cant even load it (blacked out in esc menu) or even access the options. A final middle finger after the most frustration I have ever had with this game after 700+ hrs.

Then, how come I can sleep for 12 hours and it still be night time, lol! There needs to be another option (like 15 hrs) if this is the case.

Man I hope my next scavenging mission is more productive when I load it back up, but if not, I can't see myself continuing on in this mod which is unfortunate because the start and description really had my hopes up for a decent Ravage mod.

Man this mod started off sweet. Then after the first enemy camp I took out it just seems to crawl.

Very little loot like FiftyCz has said. No ammo, some zombies seem like tanks, even taking 3-5 shots. I set up at the first camp down the road from the start and went out on a couple scavenging runs and came back with less than what I left with. Ran into two raiders who had no ammo after our skirmish because they got swarmed by like 20 zombies at the same time which I had to kite around just so I could search their bodies without wasting what little ammo I had. Which leads me as well to say it seems like there are either no zombies or 20+; some of which can just decide their runners at any given moment. All this to say it was quite the exercise in futility.

Sorry for wall of text; Overall, a few pointers i'd say of having atleast majority of certain houses within the radial zones to have some points of garbage loot to make the majority of the enterable places unignored, hell i still search them regardless of being empty or not, like a barracks building or a perfectly untouched house. Otherwise so far, my stumbling over one of the rad zones below the roads was the fact of following a certain path to a certain trade place. Hell it's greats to explore both walking and driving. I mean, this scenario somehow taunts me with deleting a M1 Garand every time i get a 30-06 mag recently on either loot or corpse and only to delete it, which big oof. Keep the good work bud, i'm still continuing playing this to find the ways out. part 2/2

Honestly, i to my own experience to this in my potato laptop [Which i have been having good progress being deleted by arma3 not closing properly] have been having a good time on this scenario barring some unwanted random encounters that happened even in the start point via squad of 3 bandits, this scenario has been fun again and to put it to experience, i use the 9Liner notepad to have the intels and such noted on it alongside have some small roleplay like the character dies, "wakes up" inside any safezone and just notes it as Limbo the more they die alongside just somehow having confusion to how they never wielded a gun only to be good somehow. part 1/2

I finished it! And maybe found 4 or 5 ways to escape! Only one thing didn't work.... I was not able to sell anything but binoculars and laser designators at special gear trader. I was able to buy everything you mentioned in the briefing files, but only binoculars class things could be sold.

ROBAX Thanks for the feedback... again. I do enjoy these, meaning you take your time explaining yourself properly... I'll take your thoughts in consideration, might even change something... when I have the time/energy. I've spent so much time with Arma Editor last few months, I'm getting a bit weary... I am/was actually working on another scenario already, but maybe some time off is needed right now. I'm seeing nightmares about scripts not working... But thanks. I'll look into some things you talked about some day.

And the last notes here:

Bug? Several traders have no brochure on the counter, yet they tell you there is one.
Way too much loot at airfield.. maybe just have something really special there.
Overall there ended up being tons of loot. Didn’t even need to be this much.
Money is a major pain to manage in inventory, especially when hundreds to a thousand dollars are needed. Maybe have cheaper prices and therefore fewer banknotes. E.g. $50 instead of $500 for the UAZ and just have 1/10th as much money around the place.
The sequences of finding something locked and then needing to find a key are great to have, but maybe spread them out more. i.e. the key could be somewhere entirely different… in a building or on a body in another town etc (like the Gregor mission)

First set of feedback notes:
Don't use copyright music – Instant copyright strike for Youtubers (happened to me in the first episode and so I never used the boomboxes after that).
Detune Ravage zombie sounds – Makes them sound way better.
Add bolters, crawlers, especially at dusk/night
Add Exile mist at night (gilligantrevor has this sorted out)
If you can fix this - Stop it going dark at 4pm
Provide something like a quad in place of the UAZ - UAZ is painfully loud!
Bug? The truck by underground base has crate with gear inside – Gear can’t be removed.
Tip: Maybe explain in the instructions how to double-click to make a note on the map – Noobs won’t always know this.

Moving along....

The AI setup was good and the locations you've made were all good. The skills system you came up with is also good as was the attempt to tie it all together as a story. I liked the Gregor mission because it took me across the map. More speard out stuff like this is good. You'll definitely have to do another using all the things you've figured out for this one!

Hi Mauseri. Great work, best Ravage mission I've played and as you know I've played them all. This is as near to an AAA title as a Ravage mission could get. You've managed to use tasks, intel, and those proximity and other trigger messages to make something that plays like a real game.

There's a fair bit of bad language and complaining, more than I usually do. Much of it as due to Arma glitches and generally painful things happening.

The save system early on was definitely a pain, but it all worked out in the end. And the Ravage sleep system is also crappy and doesn't help at all. The new DLC map, (which I only bought in order to play this) is very realistic, but not otherwise very interesting. They need to give it some proper cities and other interesting locations.

Yes, the new sleep system is rubbish and the way this map is totally black from 4pm through to 7am makes it worse. You have to sit and wait in the dark for 6 hours before it lets you sleep. Thankfully I found the NVGs early and so I'm ok to keep playing after 4pm.

With the hearing issue... Normally if your ears get stunned, they clear up after a minute or two. Here I'm staying deaf until I sleep. I use the mods on my workshop page here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1296770141

It might have been the one named Suppress, but that hasn't had an update since over a year and I've used it on every game since I started playing. Regardless, now that I know I can sleep to get me hearing back, I can deal with it.

And that hearing-thing you mentioned? All new to me...In what kind of situations you lose your hearing? Is there a chance its a mod thing, you using any non-listed mods?

Is there an earplug key in this? My hearing keeps going quiet after things like getting flash-banged and I can't figure out how to get it back. Healing doesn't seem to work.

Hans(z) Hey uhh... I tried a version of this I downloaded from WS and the stamina worked fine... sooo, I don't know why you have it disabled.

But just a thought: you don't happen to have the stamina-bar disabled in your game settings (options-game-difficulty)? Because if you can't see the bar, it might seem as if you have unlimited stamina in the start when you carry very little weight and you can sprint something like a minute and a half before you run out of stamina? Just a thought....

Or are you using some mod that might override stamina settings? I'm mainly thinking of 'Enhanced Movement'... it MIGHT have some effect on stamina, not sure.
