@raz334 it was called "Pimp My Skunk" and it was for X rebirth, idk if it was added to steam. it might of been, i think it was a mod nexus thing.

Anyone know of a mod like "Pimp my Ship" maybe that was from a previous Xuniverse game cause i can't find it here... basically it made all the ship upgrades available for purchase and removed limits on how many modifications a ship could have.

is it possible to make a paintjobs mod for shield generators and turrets? most of them really dont fit in with the paintjobs

damn these looks great, too bad very few look good on paranid ships because of the pain/texture scheme on them.

@[Giver Of The Beans] That would be model edits just like my neutral engine tints mod, the colour is in the vertex painting of the model not in the texture.

If i wanted to replace the texture that the Split shield generators and split turrets use with the red color from your mod, do you know what file i would have to edit? Like where are those textures referenced for the split models?

@shuulleech Sorry for the delay, there are only 4 default themes in 2.6, 4 more were added in 3.0. Are you running the beta? As for the names I couldnt find how to change those, for now. Didnt think it was an issue for the time being.

Strange, but i only get 4 themes available with this mod. And names are wrong, like yellow will actually be green.

@Alpha Thanks. It should be very easy to do that. Extract the game files and open paintmods.xml, find the paintmod you want and copy its line of code. Then you can replace one of the lines in my mod with that code to use it as a default (or make your own mod).

hi there, great mod! but is there a easy way for me to add the "Digital Templar" Paint Mod to one of the themes ? i hate it to change every ship manually .... :/

@facciola007. Mod is still working for me on 3.0 beta 2. They have added names and changed the order of the themes in beta 2. I'll check what they did, but not sure what is causing your problem - works for me on new games and old saves.

I installed the mod but now there are no paint jobs available? Also not sure if its from this mod or the beta but some ships show up really dark in the ship designer when placing an order.

@Katana Orcia. The 6th and 8th paint jobs are pretty much black and white. They have some colour and brightness to keep them looking interesting and not flat/fake. The picture of the eclipse is in black hole sun so the ambient light is adding yellow to them. I also didnt want to make paintmods obsolete by giving myself really striking/extreme paints in the default options. Im making a paintmods mod too that will include more striking white and black options.
