Appreciate the transparency, I'm familiar with basic mod merging in GUTS, does Reiners need any extra work for compatibility, or will a simple merge do the trick?

I'll be honest and say I don't think I'd merge that in. Reason being that for mods that obviously had a lot of love and blood put into them, it seems merging them into something else just disregards all of that. It's the same reasoning why I didn't put in any of the LAO mods. Hope you can accept my position on this.

It warms my heart to see some of the OG Torchmodders still updating mods for Torchlight 2. It's such a phenomenal game. As soon as I'm rich, I'll buy the rights back from Perfect World and get the original crew back together to make a proper Torchlight 4.

Some of the item names are very weird. "Mortar Minigun"? I would suggest variations on the word "Minigun"; Gatling Gun, Rotating Autocannon, etc etc. Instead of adding one of the words from the cannons to miniguns, same with flamethrowers. There is a hundred ways to say flamethrower and "culverin flamethrower" is just a headscratcher!

Okay so a medium-sized update here... The "throwing weapons" from Synergies mod have finally been folded-in to this mod. We got permission to break out these weapons from Salan like maybe a year ago now, but just never got around to actually merging them here and and uploading it.

This should be useable even if you have Synergies in your load order, since the unit files have all been re-GUID'ed ;P

@ Skaith : Some modders have disappeared or retired such as Doudley, Korzeam, Kebbek, Aherin, and Salan. However we do have some names that still update mods or maintain some form of presence in the communities such as Torchmodders, Turton, Corley, Drewrobi, and Tukkek. Not as active as before without the Far East Team, Synergies Team, TL1CP Team yet TL2 as a game has never been updated with any patches that breaks older mods so no issues there unlike the Minecraft game that suffers the opposite problem ironically.

oh damn I wasn't expecting a response, ah that's fine. breaks my heart fearing that the modding days for this game is going to draw to a close at one point seeing most of my favorite mods that stopped updating and going out of date.

Hi toxxxic. Ran into tech issues with the flamer way back when and kinda set it aside. Guess i should finish that and get it out there.
Will look into the minigun sound (i dont like it much either lol).

Whens the flamethrower coming? The railguns don't make any sounds when firing, and also, please change the minigun sounds, its too loud and gets old after awhile.

Hi Dark Acheron. Thats a good question that hasnt been asked yet. Unfortunately i dont know the answer for sure because i dont play with Essentials (but im aware it adds some weapons like Arkham's Armory).
But in the best case you would end up with multiple spawns of duplicated items, and in the worst case you could get crashes. Give it a shot and let me know; id be okay to adjust this mod due to the greater popularity of Essentials but pls understand i cannot commit a time frame.

Hey there, really good looking mod by the premise, but I've a question; Is this safe to use with T2 Essentials?

It also has stuff like Arkham's Armory, but I like to have more weapon variety so stuff doesn't get boring.

hmmm do you have chars which were saved while those other mods were active? cos the game can crash if it doesnt find all the stuff a char was saved with...

even after deactivating these mods i couldnt get my torchlight to start.

An idea I had for the longest time but don't have the skills to pull it off -
In Final Fantasy X, when a weapon had multiple element attached them, both elements would show instead of just one. For example a sword with Water and Fire would show swirling Fire plus blobs of Water on the weapon at the same time while in battle.
Would it possible to do that for TL2 weapons? Instead of showing just one element it can be any element that's attached to the weapon.

Hey @Graeystone! Yup it works fine. I removed the need for coolants from evilneko's version of miniguns, but it will still "overheat" then u have to wait 10 seconds before it will fire again. The damage still needs balancing tho imo (needs better sound too)

I just updated this mod workshop page to version 17, but it isnt showing as updated yet.

Am not very familiar with all that Essentials does, but as long as it doesn't alter weapon base-files, there should be no problems using these 2 mods together.

- Fixed conflicts between items in the Variant Classes and TL1CP mods
- Fixed poor accuracy of TL1 rifles by shifting to the rifles weapon-skill by Viz (thank you Viz).
- Fixed poor accuracy of Sniper rifles by shifting to a sniper rifle weapon-skill based on the rile skill by Viz (thanks again Viz!).
- Added 1H versions of the Frostmourne sword model by Liakad. Also expanded the number of 2H Frostmourne versions.
