Great story even if it ends with a cliffhanger, after playing this I just went to Stitch in Time, and I fill in the gaps imagining I took the deal of Mr. Johnson :lunar2019coolpig:

I'm playing now @Plokoon12 ... just through the original story for the first time. Checking out story workshop mods for a taste of things to come. I like that "Returns" has a HBS pics section in the workshop. A great starting point for starting exploring mods without worry that they aren't some fragment (my only experience with mods so far was one of these broken things... i don't know how many I'd just want to "try" if I never found a working one). So happy to see this!

Okay, so It's 2020 here... And I feel like I'm the only one playing Shadowrun Returns now.
Just wanted to say, that I really enjoed playing through the story. And yes, the prison break mission is awesome!:cybereye:

This ever being continued?
Haldar The Tall 22 Jun, 2015 @ 9:00pm
This was great, maybe better than Dead Man's Switch. Great job.
bclund 6 May, 2014 @ 12:25pm
I do not understand the chapters. I thought the prison break was just the end of chapter one, but the game just ends there. I tried to see if there was a mistake but the last autosave is before the prison break. Either the story is a lot shorter than I thought or there is a bug preventing it from switching chapters.
LostAngel1000 1 May, 2014 @ 7:19pm
Having an Issue with the fact that dispite me having started a new character the prices for the runners for the first mission are that of a end game runner. They are geared for endgame as well but I am unable to afford more then one at all if that which means by the second Mission I will probably be unable to afford any
Mr Lunare 9 Mar, 2014 @ 8:15pm
Is it that there is not enough money or is it the runners for hire are higher level than they should be? I noticed two of the nephilim guys had double copies, a lower level one for about 1k and a higher level one around 3k. The only way I had a full team for the prison break was because I bought zero equipment, however it felt like the runners were overpowered for the content (playing on Hard), while my character, the only one at 2AP, found the guards a good challenge. So far, I really like the mod, but fixing the levels of runners for hire, or at least offering some cheaper, low level options, would help balance out a lot.
Wizard 7 Mar, 2014 @ 10:41pm
Ok, cool. Let me just say, I enjoyed the game a great deal. You did a fantastic job on it, even though I hoped it would be longer. One negative comment I do have is this, you give out enogh Karma to raise a Skill line to about 8 and a supporing skill line to about 6 or 7. Which means with the amount of money you gave out I had the option to upgrade my spells and med kits and go on a run with 1 other NPC runner or not upgrade my spells so I can afford a full party of runners. I really did not think of a solution, but I thought I point out a problem.

Wizard - yes
Wizard 6 Mar, 2014 @ 12:34am
So so just to make sure I did not miss something. The end so far is the "brisk walk" right after the prison brake, right?
Kanjejou 11 Feb, 2014 @ 6:53am
Buit still an excellent mod...
But for decker and rigger I would suggest a little help to start a free medkit and repairkit could help
Kanjejou 11 Feb, 2014 @ 6:44am
You start very low wich mean if you take a equipement oriented class like decker and rigger you can't do much wich is quite annoying
You give lot of solution to problem but most would need at least to start with around 2500$ not 1150$

The first warehouse drone passage need a drone 1000$ and a handgun 100$
and you will have to figth quite competent ennemeis for a new character
ErrolBrown 4 Feb, 2014 @ 4:55am
One thing I saw on another UGC page like this was the author had set up several sub forums. Spoilers for those stuck, Suggestions for further content and Bugs. A very useful tool for the author and players :)
ErrolBrown 4 Feb, 2014 @ 4:53am
Nice UGC. Varied settings, lots of action but also with a good story to back it up. Lots of plot twists, mechanics and surprises.
Bug: I played a shaman. The air and lightning walls. I placed 5 squares but only 1 showed on the floorplan. I was counting on these lines of spells a lot so its a big bug for me, kinda gimps my shaman :(
henrythelesser 3 Feb, 2014 @ 9:07pm
same problem as jonthornton13. I get an exit point over the lady runner, but nothing to click on! I have tried by unsubscribing and reloading both content packs twice. Any other suggestions?
LargerTehNinja 28 Jan, 2014 @ 10:00pm
Hey I havn't been able to move past the very first part. I played this UGC before and enjoyed it but I've wanted to try it again and it won't let me get out of my apartment. It seems like lately shadowruns been having a bunch of glitches for me. Maybe a recent update messed with things.
Gavin Again 22 Jan, 2014 @ 8:46am
Very well done, thank you! Looking foward to more!
zaknafein196 17 Jan, 2014 @ 4:44am
Great story :) loved the Lonestar Prison, so sad that it's over.
megid2 11 Jan, 2014 @ 5:12pm
... so in conclusion, very nice, good if unfulfilled story, a little short (3 hours), some deadstop-restart issues left. Thx!
megid2 11 Jan, 2014 @ 3:36pm
Well... am in the cementary mission. Liked it so far though the Razor ego trip (so beautiful! so deadly! everyone in awe of her!) makes me dislike her, good for the emotional investment in the story :)

Cementary run: If you kill the boss first, there is no way to finish the level. Had to restart. Might want to fix that. Otherwise: keep up the good work, and grats for your newborn!
Obsidian_Razor  [author] 3 Jan, 2014 @ 2:00pm
FYI folks - New baby in the house so I'm lacking the free time that I once had. Chapter 4 is going to take a while. Thanks for your patience.
eliandi 1 Jan, 2014 @ 9:12pm
Very much enjoyed it. Will say the last mission needed alternate jack points for the decker. Like others, I did not understand I needed to stay at the single point. Seems some computers would provide an access point for a good decker. Overall excellent content. Much recommended.
glartwort 22 Dec, 2013 @ 1:43am
Very good content. Solid story that left me wanting more. Looking forward to additional chapters. Thanks.
Rudedog 18 Dec, 2013 @ 2:22pm
@jarmo.laakso
Had that second one too but forgot about it by the time I finished
jarmo.laakso 18 Dec, 2013 @ 10:07am
... yes. Don't know how I missed that and thought it was just a patch. Thanks.
Obsidian_Razor  [author] 17 Dec, 2013 @ 7:15pm
jarmo - you need to launch the UGC from this launcher not from the original UGC package
jarmo.laakso 16 Dec, 2013 @ 2:00pm
The first real mission, heading to cemetery.
Once I've picked the team and hit the.. whatever button it is to start the mission there's only black screen. Also, before the mission there's a "new actor" in his undies following me in the seamstress union upstairs.
RasterOps 13 Dec, 2013 @ 6:05pm
Despite being told I needed to keep a Decker connected throughout the entire mission, I, like others, assumed there was another jackpoint. So when I died... it dawned on me that there was just the one. Anyway, the prison break was THOROUGHLY enjoyable. Subsequently when I found I was at the end of chapter 3, I was left wanting more!
Rudedog 12 Dec, 2013 @ 2:10pm
Finished chapter 3, excellent job. This is as good (if not as long) as DMS. Hit a couple of bugs though. In cemetery two of teh weeners were neutral and followed me around until I found another group at which time I was suddenly surrounded! Killed em all anyway! =) Later on I jacked in to a matrix point only to found a black IC waiting! He just stood there and let me wail on him though so it was ok! Finally in the jail break, it looks like one lonestar guard was trapped in a room with windows but no doors across from the cell blocks.
Obsidian_Razor  [author] 11 Dec, 2013 @ 5:54am
Gambit - I'll take a look at the bug you are reporting and see if there is anything that can be done.
Gambit 8 Dec, 2013 @ 2:25pm
Third time i run the prison chapter... First time, i screwed up big time ( only brought 2 runners including the decker ) : didn(t even see alaister... Second time, i tried being a bit more careful, but a lucky lonestar shot offed me two steps before the van... Neverheless, i persevered... And the thirs run went smoothly... Until the very end... All my runners are in the van for about an hour, and the battle still rages between lone star and the neutral turrets...
An hour, a real... long... unending hour... I'm stuck without being able to save, or finish the job... and now i cannot even hear gunshots or anything, so i guess the prison s in an endless loop...
That third time was the last, i guess... Hope my bug report help future players...
raymonddidit 4 Dec, 2013 @ 5:39pm
I'm hitting the cemetery bug as well. Trying a restart. Would I need to use a new runner?
duck_dodgers 28 Nov, 2013 @ 7:25pm
I just found out this works for linux now a few days ago. I played it through and thought it was one of the best ugc out there so far, of course it's obviously not done yet, but I can't wait until the next part comes out.
DivaOfSteel 27 Nov, 2013 @ 1:08pm
So far, really awesome.

With the prison break, I'd offer a suggestion of placing a jackpoint inside, or making it more clear that the decker should stay jacked in through the whole mission. I took him with me once all the doors were open (more firepower!), only to have to run back outside to open the cellblocks... then back in again to grab Finn.

Beyond that, I did run in to a strange bug where several lone star members were on the "netural" team, running around doing nothing, until after I freed Finn, when they suddenly jumped to "enemy" and started shooting. No idea what caused it, other than me trying the front door before the side ones, heh.
Penny Lane 23 Nov, 2013 @ 10:01am
Oh God, the cliffhanger ending!
Czar~<{(o)}>~Loki 21 Nov, 2013 @ 1:36pm
ok, I am having the same issue as Bastinenz. I have restarted the misson twice now and still nothing to interact with to find or open the grave.
Bastinenz 21 Nov, 2013 @ 8:52am
Okay, I think I'm experiencing a bug in the graveyard mission. I killed all of the Halloweeners and can explore the graveyard, but there is nothing to interact with and I can't find the grave I need to open. I might just be missing something, but I must've searched the entire graveyard 5 or 6 times now and still can't find anything.
Thousand Whispers of Slaanesh 21 Nov, 2013 @ 7:21am
A nice challenge i really liked the prison break and fighting in 3 areas at once and the confusion of working through several fights at once and preserving everyone.
Guyver 21 Nov, 2013 @ 1:18am
What a Cliffhanger, can't wait for chapter 4
Liquidus 20 Nov, 2013 @ 2:04pm
Really great content, blazed through it and was so, so, so diappointed when i saw the "the end of chapter 3" message !!
tvfossen 19 Nov, 2013 @ 6:40pm
Thank you for the help, Obsidian_Razor. I wound up playing through to the end of the third chapter. Having played Shadowrun since 2nd Edition, you really brought me back to middle school :) I look forward to more from you. You make a quality play experience.
Lone Blackfang 18 Nov, 2013 @ 1:58am
Never mind I just found it
Lone Blackfang 18 Nov, 2013 @ 1:38am
I cant find the lancher in my subed. content
Obsidian_Razor  [author] 17 Nov, 2013 @ 5:20pm
tvfossen - make sure that you launch content from this UGC not from the Razor's Edge Chapters 1 - 3 UGC.
teamgene 15 Nov, 2013 @ 10:48pm
You got me hooked, can't wait for more chapters!
Mizaroth 15 Nov, 2013 @ 3:01am
k, just finished this mod; quite possibly the best ugc out there (and i tend to prefer sandbox style games). Absolutely brilliant and i can't wait for chapter 4. *spoiler* breaking into lonestar to free the mage was possibly the finest singe shadowrun ive played yet. Well done sir, well done indeed. And i concur with Randy on all his points as well - the design and flow were exceptional.
wilesre 14 Nov, 2013 @ 8:11pm
Nevermind. I missed the part where you have to go to the cell block control.
thorin of wtf 14 Nov, 2013 @ 5:35pm
A Challenging little scenario, i liked it!!
wilesre 14 Nov, 2013 @ 5:18pm
I am stuck at the prison. I have completed all the optional missions and have found Alaistar. I have completed all the decking and talked to McAllister (or whatever his name is) and he says he is going to open cell block B. But it's not open. I can see the yellow diamond on the map. But the cell block doors are all closed. I have gone through the decking 3 times to make sure I haven't missed anything. All the gaurds are dead. Help.
