Your CargoContainer fabricator/printer is amazingly compact!
I tried to build something myself but I couldn't get it to work with welders on the side.
Now I've reverse engineered yours and I like it!

Really like the SIM line of vehicles and stations for survival. Would you be able to publish the fabricator rotor head as it's own blueprint for use in survival, or do you mind if I publish it?

Do civilians use this base in the belt? Does the CEU condone such a thing? Does contract with HS?

@Quickblood611 - Check the build out in creative, you can see the timer set up there. It'll be easier that way than trying to explain in text.

You can make a blueprint of the grid on the piston head in creative. You should be able to add a small grid rotor head to the large grid advanced rotor on the piston via the terminal screen, and then use a small grid projector to project the grid for welding.

I see that the projector is not built due to not being able to do multiple grids but is there any guide on what to set up and how. I have seen an advanced rotor mentioned to get a small projector but what direction do you need and what name is the build expecting?

This base does look impressive, but I will not keeping it around as base. I however do think it may serve me better as a learning tool.

Good things:

- Seems to have everything present
- Love the fact that it has multiple docks for both ground as air vehicles.

Bad things:

- It's a maze
- The ramp can cause trouble for some ground vehicles as it is too steep (which actually counts for all ramps meaning all bases will have this issue I guess?

Small tips
- Building a flat surface floor for this base would be a good idea
- Try to figure this maze would be a plus.
- Traveling slowly to get on or off is a must do, don't ignore the signs

is it okay if I use this to showcase effects in my weather mod? Your blueprint will be linked in the mod's description, it's not used as part of the mod, only for the thumbnail.

@diex40 you have to build it from a connection off of the grid of the projector otherwise you dont have a start point if it helps set show buildable only once in position to see where you can start building from

Ok so i tested it on multiple different saves and worlds and it worked on them just not on the first one were it broke. Welp, guess im just gonna use a diff world

i can see the pod perfectly fine and im using the button next to the printer and the control seat up in the tower

@[TLOD] Bush Yowie - I've just tested the fabricator in game and it seems ok.
Can you see a projection of the pod?
Are you using the timers to start building or activating things manually in the menus?

Can somebody help me pls, i have an issue with the cargo pod printer. I have been spawning the base in creative all over the system but none of the 5-6 base's printers work properly, I even tried building a few of the blocks in the middle of the pod to kick start the welders because i thought it might be out of reach but when i tried to grind them away because it didn't do anything the welders kept fixing the merge block i was grinding so it clearly wasn't that. I also tried putting every single building material inside of the base's storage containers but that didn't fix it either.

Any help would be nice but if nothing can be done about it then RIP i guess. Posting then going to bed so ill check this thread tomorrow.

@=MFIC=matto_SeaLS - There is a projector built into the small grid connected to the piston head via an advanced rotor. If you built this in survival, that part will not have been projected during building.

@BlankFX - In game scripts are not mods in the traditional sense as they don't modify the game, rather use an in game block in the manner it was intended. I get where you are coming from, but in my experience, this seems to be the community consensus.

@=MFIC=matto_SeaLS - The spaceport fabricator is not designed to build Eager cargo drones, only Standard Cargo Pods. It might work, but I've not tried it. From the error you are getting, I'd say you were trying to load the Eager BP into the Large Grid Projector "Maintenance Projector". Try loading it into the other projector, which I believe is called "Fabricator Projector" or something similar. It will be a different colour in the Terminal menu. Good luck!

Hi, I have a question: how is possible to let the welders build Eager Atmospheric Cargo Drones if the projector says "Incorrect blueprint size. Blueprint size must match that of the projector" ? Could you help me please?

Fun Fact: "No Mods" - On Screenshot we can clearly see how Automated LCDs 2 is used, but I assume thats not really a dependancy.

@CreyF1sh - Use the loading connector, the one opposite the entrance. Edit the Loading Conveyor Sorter whitelist to select what you want to load. Alternatively, set the sorter to use blacklist with no items listed.

@[UGC] Target - That is a fault. Sorry about that. Thanks for letting me know. I have fixed the conveyor break and updated the BP, see notes.

To fix the break, remove a reactor from the right hand side of the Reactor Room and take a pipe upward, there is a conveyor nearby to join on to. You need to remove an armor block or two to get to it. Please see updated BP for details.

Just built it in survival, the conveyors for the welding guns and drone charging stations are not connected to the main grid, so the welders don't work... Am I missing something?

I built a neat little atmospheric miner that hooks on top of a cargo pod so I can Switch out the cargo pod while it drains ice/ores into some refineries. I really enjoy this base!

Gorgeous but heavy on the lights. Personally I would remove most of the running corner lights around the pads.
